Hoje, trigésimo quarto dia da quarentena e segundo dados oficias, aqui no Brasil o número de mortes pelo VÍRUS CHINÊS, mais conhecido como Novo Coronavírus ou Covid 19, subiu para 2.575 e o número total de infectados está em 40.581.

Toda unaminidade (quarentena total e igual em todo o mundo) é burra e enfim alguém fala o óbvio: o diretor-geral da Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, reconheceu nesta quinta-feira que o distanciamento físico "é quase impossível" nos países pobres, agora atingidos pela pandemia da Covid-19, por isso apelou aos seus respectivos governos para que fossem cautelosos na imposição de confinamentos. As autoridades "devem considerar que, em alguns países e comunidades, as ordens para ficar em casa podem não ser práticas e até causar danos involuntários", disse Tedros, durante reunião semanal com missões diplomáticas internacionais em Genebra, na Suíça, para analisar a resposta global a Covid-19.

"Milhões de pessoas em todo o mundo precisam trabalhar todos os dias para poder colocar um prato na mesa e não podem ficar em casa durante muito tempo sem assistência", afirmou o diretor, manifestando sua preocupação com episódios de violência registrados em várias partes do mundo por causa das restrições. Tedros acrescentou que a pandemia está obrigando crianças a ficarem sem aulas, "colocando algumas delas em maior risco de abuso", e privando muitos menores de frequentar escolas, que costumam ser o principal acesso a alimentos e cuidados de saúde.

Aqui em meu bairro a criminalidade aproveitas as noites silenciosas e vazias para literalmente "tocar o terror". Assaltos aos poucos desavisados nas ruas, invasão de lojas e casas, explosões de caixas eletrônicos, helicópteros da polícia sobrevoando as redondezas de madrugada e tiroteios teem se tormnado cada vez mais frequentes. Desde que essa quarentena infeliz começou, minha casa já sofreu duas tentativas de invasão, devidamente rechaçadas com muito carinho e palavras doces de minha parte às pobres vítimas da sociedade.

Bem, acho que por hoje é tudo que tenho a dizer. Nos vemos amanhã. Cuidem-se, amigos.

The Italian Villa Paper Model - by Papermau - Download Tomorrow!

This paper model, the Italian Villa, was originally published here at the blog in December, 2015. As I now have plenty of time due to the CHINESE VIRUS, I finally decided to build this model, after almost five years. I am happy to say that all the pieces fit perfectly and the assembly is not so difficult, but it requires patience and good eyes, due to the small size of some pieces, such as the stairs and the railings. I am reviewing the templates and tomorrow I will download this Italian Villa for download.

Este modelo de papel, a Villa Italiana, foi publicado originalmente aqui no blog em Dezembro de 2015. Como agora tenho tempo de sobra devido ao VÍRUS CHINÊS, resolvi enfim montar este modelo, depois de quase cinco anos. Fico contente em poder dizer que todas as peças se encaixam perfeitamente e a montagem não é tão difícil, mas exige paciência e bons olhos, devido ao tamanho diminuto de algumas peças, tais como a escada e as grades. Estou revisando os templates e amanhã coloco esta Villa Italiana para download.

Just over a month ago I posted here a paper model of this same tower, but offered by 12 Kai website . Today I bring the same model, but instead of two printed sheets, it occupies four sheets and was created by Japanese designer Tak, from the AMFF Craft Work website.

Ryounkaku Tower, In All Its Splendor...

For 33 years, Ryounkaku [Cloud surpassing pavilion] towered over Asakusa and the surrounding city. Completed in 1890, built of brick over a wood frame, the twelve-story Ryounkaku stood out among the more typical two-, three- or four-story buildings that were common in Meiji-era Tokyo. Because of its height, Ryounkaku was known locally as Ju-ni-kai (Twelve-stories). Its height was of notable achievement. It was the tallest building in the Eastern hemisphere when completed; only some 70-feet shorter in 1890 than the then-world's tallest building, the New York World building. Inside "Twelve-Stories" was Japan's first elevator; the tower was lit on every floor, with an additional row of arc lights perched above the outdoor observation deck. A strong tremor in 1894 weakened the tower, producing a slight lean. In its aftermath, Ryounkaku was reinforced with steel girders. Unfortunately, the reinforced tower was no match for the 1923 Kanto earthquake and the towering landmark was reduced to rubble.

Há pouco mais de um mês eu postei aqui no blog um modelo de papel desta mesma torre, mas oferecida pelo site 12 Kai. Hoje eu trago o mesmo modelo, só que ao invés de duas folhas impressa, ele ocupa quatro e foi criado pelo designer japonês Tak, do site AMFF Craft Work.

Por 33 anos, o Ryounkaku (Pavilhão sobre as Nuvens) erguia-se imponente sobre a cidade Asakusa Concluída em 1890, construída com tijolos sobre um esqueleto de madeira, o Ryounkaku, com seus doze andares se destacava entre os típicos prédios de dois, três ou quatro andares que eram mais comuns na era Meiji, em Tóquio. Devido à sua altura, o Ryounkaku era conhecido localmente como Ju-ni-kai (Doze Pavimentos). Sua altura era era um grande feito arquitetônico para a época. Foi o edifício mais alto do hemisfério oriental, quando concluído. Era apenas alguns metros menor que o maior edifício mais alto até então construído em todo o mundo, o New York World building. Neste edifício foi instalado o primeiro elevador do Japão. Um forte tremor em 1894 enfraqueceu a torre, então ela foi reforçada com vigas de aço. Infelizmente, a torre, mesmo reforçada, não foi páreo para o terremoto de Kanto de 1923 e este marco imponente do Japão foi reduzido a escombros. O Japão, ao invés de se lamentar, aprendeu a lição e hoje exporta tecnologia anti terremotos para o mundo todo.

Um Pequeno Diário da Quarentena - Dias 32 & 33

Domingo, trigésimo terceiro dia da quarentena e hoje no Brasil o número de mortes provocadas pelo VÍRUS CHINÊS, mais conhecido como Covid 19 subiu para 2.462 e o número total de infectados está em 38.654.

Hoje deixo com vocês um documentário dos Spotniks intitulado "Muitos países erraram na luta contra o coronavírus. Ninguém errou mais que o governo chinês" ,que explica, apoiado por farta documentação, como todo esse pesadelo começou. Aos amigos de língua inglesa e espanhola, peço que habilitem as legendas e assistam. Vale muito a pena vocês saberem como o governo comunista chinês fez com que uma infecção local fosse negada e abafada até que fosse tarde demais.

Vejo vocês amanhã.

Self Isolation Paper Toy Playset - by Fold Up Toys

Created by British designer and modeler Alex Gwynne, from Fold Up Toys website, this is the Self Isolation paper toy playset. Alex said: - "As I write this, we are in lockdown. Outside travel is prohibited without good reason as we live through the Covid-19 pandemic. This playset shows a visual manifestation of the worry about the virus and the situation surrounding it. I’m not sure what’s a more terrifying prospect. That this will ultimately, completely change our way of life, or that nothing at all will change as a result."

Criado pelo designer e modelista britânico Alex Gwynne, do site Fold Up Toys, este é o Self Isolation paper toy playset. Alex disse: - "Enquanto escrevo isso, estamos em lockdown. É proibido viajar para o exterior sem uma boa razão, pois vivemos a pandemia do Covid-19. Este playset mostra uma manifestação visual da preocupação com o vírus e da situação em torno dele. Não sei qual a perspectiva mais aterradora. Que isso acabará mudando completamente nosso modo de vida, ou que nada mudará como resultado."

A Little Quarantine Diary - Days 30 & 31
Um Pequeno Diário da Quarentena - Dias 30 & 31

Good night to all friends of the blog. Today, the thirty-first day of quarantine and here in Brazil we have 2,141 people killed by the Chinese Virus, better known as Covid 19 and 33,682 infected.

Yesterday the health minister of my country, an orthopedist and politician, who was in favor of total quarantine, was dismissed, and in his place came an oncologist who thinks of taking actions that combine health and economics in a way that the two things go hand in hand, without antagonisms. We'll see.

The quarantine here in São Paulo was extended until the 10th of May, so it seems that things will get much worse before it gets better. This "peak of the pandemic" here in Brazil has already been announced and changed several times and this causes insecurity and panic in the population. Before it was for April 15th and now has been postponed to May. Some say that it will arrive only in winter (June and July) and that it will be when the Brazilian health system will collapse. My thanks to the socialist presidents (Lula and Dilma) of the Workers' Party, who destroyed Brazil for almost 16 years and who built football stadiums and billionaire Olympic villages instead of using the money to build hospitals.

I'm tired. I decided to do something to spend time with something light and not think too much about everything that is happening, as if it were possible to ignore this second-class science fiction that the world has become because of that damn CHINESE VIRUS.

Searching through old projects I found this Cardboard Castle (photo above and link here) that was played here at home for almost two years and decided to continue it. As I create something, I will post it here on the blog.

Well, I hope you are well. Take care of yourself, save money, cook at home, make crafts, help elderly neighbors and enjoy living with your children. Those who are working outside, take more care, wear masks, alcohol gel, keep your distance. Take care, but live. Do not panic or get carried away by the terrorist news in the mainstream media. They earn a lot of money from the population locked inside the house, consuming hours and hours of their news tailored to terrify you and make you obey without thinking.

Boa noite a todos os amigos do blog. Hoje, trigésimo primeiro dia da quarentena e aqui no Brasil temos 2.141 mortos pelo Vírus Chinês, mais conhecido como Covid 19 e 33.682 infectados.

Ontém o ministro da saúde de meu país, um médico ortopedista e político, que era a favor da quarentena total, foi demitido, e em seu lugar entrou um médico oncologista que pensa em fazer ações que combinem saúde e economia de uma forma que as duas coisas andem lado a lado, sem antagonismos. Veremos.

A quarentena aqui em São Paulo foi prolongada até o dia 10 de Maio, então parece que as coisas irão piorar bastante antes de melhorar. O tal "pico da pandemia" aqui no Brasil já foi anunciado e mudado várias vezes e isso causa insegurança e pânico na população. Antes era para o dia 15 de Abril e agora foi adiada para Maio. Alguns dizem que chegará apenas no inverno (Junho e Julho) e que será quando o sistema de saúde brasileiro entrará em colapso. Meus agradecimentos aos presidentes socialistas (Lula e Dilma) do Partido dos Trabalhadores, que destruíram o Brasil por quase 16 anos e que construíram estádios de futebol e vilas olímpicas bilionárias ao invés de usar o dinheiro para construir hospitais.

Estou cansado. Resolvi fazer algo para passar o tempo com algo leve e não pensar muito em tudo que está acontecendo, como se fosse possível ignorar essa ficção científica de segunda classe em que se tranformou o mundo por causa desse maldito VÍRUS CHINÊS.

Vasculhando antigos projetos achei este Castelo de Papelão (foto acima e link aqui) que estava jogado aqui em casa há quase dois anos e resolvi continuá-lo. Conforme for criando algo, vou postando aqui no blog.

Bem, espero que vocês estejam bem. Cuidem-se, economizem, cozinhem em casa, façam artesanato, ajudem os vizinhos idosos e aproveitem a convivência com suas crianças. Aos que estão trabalhando fora, cuidem-se mais ainda, usem máscaras, alcool gel, mantenham distância. À tosos, cuidem, mas vivam. Não entrem em pânico nem se deixem levar pelo noticiário terrorista da grande mídia. Eles ganham muito dinheiro com a população trancada dentro de casa, consumindo horas e horas de seu noticiário feito sob medida para te apavorar e fazer você obedecer sem pensar.
