The Weekend Pic Meets Halloween Special - The Bates Houseby ValhallaAsgard & Haunted Dimensions

This perfect paper model version of the Bates House was assembled by Spanish modeler Davinia Fernández, aka ValhallaAsgard, and she kindly posted a step-by-step with a lot of photos of the process of construction at her website. This paper model was created by North American designer and modeler Ray Keim, from Haunted Dimensions website, and you can download it there (link at the end of this post).

Comissioned by Canon website, the Japanese designer Keisuke Saka created these very well done paper model versions of the Komatsu Dump Truck and the Hydraulic Excavator and the models you see assembled in the photos of this post is a work by French modeler Jeanbi. My Czech friend Jakub built the San Salvador Galleon and kindly sent me some photos of his splendid work. He not only assembled the model, but also customized various parts, enriching it further. He detailed the cannons, barrels, flags, crosses on sails, chain at anchor, grille at entrance to deck and much more. Carlo Ambrosetti is an italian modeler and he kindly sent me some photos of his very well done and creative assemble of the 1957`s Tucker Sno-Cat Antarctic Expedition paper model, a model created in 2002, by designer and modeler Kblaauw.
Carlo created a nice diorama, showing the kind of situation where this Sno-Cat was used normally. He also created a loading carriage, which made it even more realistic.

Carlo Ambrosetti é um modelista italiano e ele gentilmente enviou-me algumas fotos de sua muito bem feita e criativo montagem do modelo de papel do Tucker Sno-Cat, usado na Expedição Antártica de 1957, um modelo criado em 2002, pelo designer e modelista Kblaauw.
Carlo criou um rico diorama, mostrando o tipo de situação em que esse Sno-Cat era usada normalmente. Ele também criou um trenó de carga, o que tornou ainda mais realista o diorama.

This model was created by Japanese designer Kujiracraft and the beautiful assembly that you see in the image above was made by German modeler Reinhard Fabisch. This weekend we have a "great little model" of the Black Pearl, the famous pirate ship from Pirates of Caribbean movies. I said "great" because it is a really beautiful and well done paper model, and said "little" because it is really little, but just in size. This model was created by German designer and modeler Oliver Bizer, aka Olvar and was posted at Papiermodell Austria, a very good forum about paper models. Olvar did an excellent construction report too, full of photos, and you will find the both links, to download the model and to the construction report right below, as well.


Este final de semana nós temos um "grande pequeno modelo" do Pérola Negra, o famoso navio da série de filmes Piratas do Caribe. Eu disse "grande" por que este é um modelo muito bonito e bem feito, e também disse "pequeno" porque ele é realmente pequeno, mas só no tamanho. This WW2`s "Ferocious Frankie" P-51D Mustang Paper Model is an original creation by Indonesian designer Julius Perdana, from Paper Replika website. The model you see in the photo above was assembled by talented Spanish modeler Albert 1960. He did a nice construction report and posted the photos at Le Forun Em Papier. You will find the links to download this really well done paper model and for the construction report at the end of this post.
