Wood Burning Stove Miniature Paper Model - by Metos & Dovre

This papercraft of a miniature wood stove and fireplace occupies only one printed page and is offered by the Japanese website Metos, a company specializing in the sauna market and the sale of a wide range of fireplaces and wood stoves, which can be chosen by type or brand, accompanied by accessories and technical support. 

On the other hand, Dovre, a renowned Belgian manufacturer of fireplaces and wood stoves, is represented in Japan by Metos. 

The company offers a wide range of high-quality products, including the Dovre 640CBJ model, which is used in this papercraft. 

This wood stove and fireplace is very popular among fireplace enthusiasts in Japan. The page where this papercraft was available is still active, but the link to download the template is no longer working. 

Since I had the model saved on an old flash drive, I decided to share it here on the blog, reminding that both the papercraft and the brands Metos and Dovre belong to their respective owners.

Este papercraft de um fogão a lenha e lareira em miniatura ocupa apenas uma folha impressa e é oferecido pelo site japonês Metos, uma empresa especializada no mercado de saunas e na venda de uma ampla gama de lareiras e fogões a lenha, que podem ser escolhidos por tipo ou marca, acompanhados de acessórios e suporte técnico. 

Já a Dovre, uma renomada fabricante belga de lareiras e fogões a lenha, é representada no Japão pela Metos. 

A empresa oferece uma vasta gama de produtos de alta qualidade, incluindo o modelo Dovre 640CBJ, que é o utilizado neste papercraft. Este fogão a lenha e lareira é muito popular entre os entusiastas de lareiras no Japão. 

A página onde este papercraft estava disponível ainda está ativa, mas o link para baixar o template não está mais funcionando. 

Como eu tinha o modelo salvo em um antigo pendrive, resolvi compartilhá-lo aqui no blog, lembrando que tanto o papercraft quanto as marcas Metos e Dovre pertencem a seus respectivos donos.

WW2`s HMS Flower Class Corvette Buttercup K193 Paper Model by Masayu-i

This stunning miniature paper model version of the Corvette HMS Flower Class Buttercup K193 in 1/640 scale was created by Japanese designer and modeler Masayu-i.

The HMS Buttercup (pennant number: K193) was a Flower-class corvette built for the British Royal Navy. She served during the Second World War first as part of the Free Belgian section of the Royal Navy (RNSB), and then later as part of the Royal Norwegian Navy.

Between 1946 and 1957 she served as HNoMS Nordyn. The Norwegian government then sold her and she became the whaler Thoris until she was broken up in 1969. 

The entire model, despite all the details you can see in the photos of this post, takes up just one sheet of paper, so good eyes and steady hands are necessary for anyone who ventures to assemble this.

Esta explêndida versão de papel em minatura da Corveta HMS Flower Class Buttercup K193 na escala 1/640 foi criada designer e modelista japonês Masayu-i.

A HMS Buttercup (número da flâmula: K193) era uma corveta de classe Flower construída para a Marinha Real Inglesa. Ela serviu durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, primeiro como parte da seção Free Belgian da Royal Navy (RNSB), e depois como parte da Royal Norwegian Navy. 

Entre 1946 e 1957 ela atuou como HNoMS Nordyn. O governo norueguês então a vendeu e ela se tornou a baleeira Thoris até ser desmembrada em 1969.

O modelo todo, apesar de todos os detalhes que você pode ver nas fotos desta postagem, ocupa apenas uma folha de papel, então, bons olhos e mãos firmes são necessárias para quem se aventurar em montá-lo.

1922`s Twins Dress-Up Paper Doll Series - by Ladies Home Journal Preserved and Shared by Kathleen Taylor's Dakota Dreams

These cute series of twins dress-up paper dolls were designed in 1922 by North American artist Jessie Louise Taylor for the Ladies Home Journal magazine. They have been preserved and are now kindly shared by the North American collector Kathleen Taylor of the Dakota Dreams website. 

Ladies' Home Journal was an American magazine published by the Meredith Corporation. It was first published on February 16, 1883, and eventually became one of the leading women's magazines of the 20th century in the United States. 

From 1891 it was published in Philadelphia by the Curtis Publishing Company. In 1903, it was the first American magazine to reach one million subscribers. In the late 20th century, changing tastes and competition from television caused it to lose circulation.

Sales of the magazine ensued as the publishing company struggled. On April 24, 2014, Meredith announced it would stop publishing the magazine as a monthly with the July issue, stating it was "transitioning Ladies' Home Journal to a special interest publication". 

It was then available quarterly on newsstands only, though its website remains in operation. The last issue was published in 2016.

Esta linda série de bonecas de papel dress-up de gêmeos foi projetada em 1922 pela artista norte-americana Jessie Louise Taylor para a revista Ladies Home Journal. Elas foram preservadas e são agora gentilmente compartilhadas pela colecionadora Kathleen Taylor, do site Dakota Dreams.

Ladies 'Home Journal era uma revista americana publicada pela Meredith Corporation. Foi publicada pela primeira vez em 16 de fevereiro de 1883 e, por fim, tornou-se uma das principais revistas femininas do século 20 nos Estados Unidos. 

A partir de 1891, foi publicada na Filadélfia pela Curtis Publishing Company. Em 1903, foi a primeira revista americana a atingir um milhão de assinantes. No final do século 20, a mudança de gostos e a concorrência da televisão fizeram com que ela perdesse circulação. 

As vendas da revista seguiram em queda enquanto a editora lutava para se manter. Em 24 de abril de 2014, a Meredith anunciou que iria parar de publicar a revista mensalmente com a edição de julho, afirmando que estava "fazendo a transição do Ladies 'Home Journal para uma publicação de interesse especial". 

Na época, ela estava disponível trimestralmente apenas nas bancas, embora seu site permaneça em operação. O último número foi publicado em 2016.
