This perfect paper model version in 1/1 scale of the iconic MP44 Assault Rifle was created by Japanese designer Kaminoana. The world's first fully-semi-switchable infantry rifle operated by the Nazi German Army. A rifle that uses gas pressure to automate the loading of bullets. Although it was an epoch-making gun, there were few deployments, and it was deployed only to some units, such as the Guard. This gun has a great influence on the development of automatic rifles in a lot of countries after the war, and is a famous gun that has remained in history. This model uses a lot of paper and is for advanced users, so please print it out only if you are confident.

Esta perfeita versão em papel na escala 1/1 do Rifle de Assalto MP44 foi criada pelo designer japonês Kaminoana. Created by designer and modeler Biomaker99 and originally posted at Pepakura Gallery community, here is a perfect paper model version of the Nefertiti Bust, a painted stucco-coated limestone bust of Nefertiti, the Great Royal Wife of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. The work is believed to have been crafted in 1345 B.C. by the sculptor Thutmose, because it was found in his workshop in Amarna, Egypt. It is one of the most copied works of ancient Egypt. Owing to the work, Nefertiti has become one of the most famous women of the ancient world, and an icon of feminine beauty. A German archaeological team led by Ludwig Borchardt discovered the bust in 1912 in Thutmose's workshop. It has been kept at various locations in Germany since its discovery, including the cellar of a bank, a salt mine in Merkers-Kieselbach, the Dahlem museum, the Egyptian Museum in Charlottenburg and the Altes Museum. Devido à obra, Nefertiti tornou-se uma das mulheres mais célebres da Antiguidade, bem como um ícone da beleza feminina. Acredita-se que tenha sido feito em 1345 a.C., pelo escultor Tutemés. Pungang said: - "This is from the episode "Nick of Time" on the original Twilight Zone tv show. I think William Shatner actually starred in it. I haven't seen it yet but always thought this fortune teller machine looks pretty cool. Anyway, this paper model is pretty easy to put together. Basically three box shape, glue the tabs, and put the three section together. There are two fortune cards but feel free to make your own".

All of these wonderful vintage paper models (all originally printed over a hundred years ago) were assembled by collector and modeler Dieter Nievergelt, who also kindly shared them via Kartonmodell-Datenbank des AGK, a large German community of papercraft enthusiasts.

"In 1855, American chemistry professor Benjamin Silliman Jr. (1816-1885) built the first kerosene lamp. By 1870 oil was generally used for ambient lighting. As kerosene lamps, screenless and cheap, became popular and manufactured by many people, some ingenious minds sought a way to make them more attractive and salable. For this, it was obvious that almost all manufacturers - constantly in search of new sales opportunities - also offered handmade lampshades. The dome was then adorned with motives that boosted sales. And what else could attract than satisfy the desire for a healthy world and distant lands? Thus, lamps for kerosene lamps from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century have become a popular means of satisfying unattainable desires for beautiful places. Particularly popular motifs were exotic areas, especially those that were out of the reach of buyers. This included Switzerland, as well as Turkey or India. About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. Today I am opening a new session here on the blog, the Ephemeral Museum , which is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. Hoje eu estou inaugurando uma nova sessão aqui no blog, o Ephemeral Museum, que é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:

A very unusual and cool model by Indonesian designer Julius Perdana, from Paper-Replika. The real ( plural, reais) is the present-day currency of Brazil. Its sign is R$ and its ISO code is BRL. It is subdivided into 100 centavos ("hundredths"). The modern real was introduced in 1994 as part of the Plano Real, a substantial monetary reform package that aimed to put an end to three decades of rampant inflation. At the time it was meant to have approximately fixed 1:1 exchange rate with the United States dollar. It suffered a sudden devaluation to a rate of about 2:1 in 1999, reached almost 4:1 in 2002, then partly recovered and has been approximately 2:1 since 2006. The exchange rate as of January 22, 2012 is BRL 1.75 to USD 1.00. In Portuguese the word real means both "royal" and "real". The name of the historic real derived from the first sense. The name of the modern currency is generally understood to refer both to the historic unit and to the second sense. - Wikipedia

Após sucessivas trocas monetárias (réis, cruzeiro, cruzeiro novo, cruzado, cruzado novo, novamente cruzeiro e cruzeiro real), o Brasil adotou o real em 1º de Julho de 1994, que, aliado à drástica queda das taxas de inflação, constituiu uma moeda estável para o país. Foi implantado no mandato do presidente Itamar Franco, sob o comando do então ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, depois eleito presidente da República. A sad news for all fans of the beautiful paper models of Yamaha Japanese website: it will close and the website will be off from September 30, 2018. I advise all modeling friends to make a visit to the site and download all models while they are still available. That's what I'll do little by little.
