Frauentor-Areal In Wangen Diorama Paper Model In 1/160 Scale
by Ausschneide Bogen

Here is a beautiful paper model offered by Ausschneide Bogen website, from Germany: this very detailed paper model in 1/160 scale (N scale) of the Frauentor-Areal In Wangen is perfect for Dioramas, RPG and Wargames.

Herrenstrasse was the main street of the former imperial city of Wangen and leads from the market square to the Frauentor (Women's Portico). Here were the houses of rich patricians and merchants. After the great fire in the city of 1539, this street acquired its present appearance with mostly three-story houses in a uniform construction line.

The Frauentor has presumably been around since the town was founded in the 12th century and was first mentioned in 1472. It received its current form in 1608 and has maintained the Renaissance style ever since. In January 1563, Emperor Ferdinand granted the first visit and passed through this gate with an entourage of about 300 people to receive the tributes of the citizens.

More one time I say thanks to my friend Jo Kizinger, from USA, for this nice find!
