Finally, here is the little medieval castle that I have been showing in the last few posts, now complete and ready to download.
When I published the first post about this model, the castle was already practically defined in terms of its overall shape and the pieces that would be part of the set. The templates were still a little disorganized on the screen, but the general idea was already exactly what you see here.
After that, I made a test build, mainly to check in practice if all the pieces fitted together correctly and also to observe small details that are sometimes difficult to notice when working only on the computer.
This first test also showed how small the model really is. Printed on A4 paper, the assembled castle, without the base, measures approximately 9 cm x 9 cm x 9 cm, while the optional base measures approximately 14 cm x 14 cm.
One thing I especially liked about this project is that the entire castle occupies only three printed sheets. The first page of the PDF is just the cover, and all the parts needed to build the model, including the optional base, are distributed over the following three pages.
As I mentioned in the test build post, there is nothing stopping you from printing some of the pieces more than once. By duplicating towers and walls, for example, you can experiment with other configurations and create a larger or different version of the castle shown in the photos.
The assembly is quite simple. The pieces are numbered and the corresponding positions on the base are numbered as well. Simply assemble each piece and glue it onto the area of the base with the same number. It is as simple as that.
The photos in this post show the model from several different angles and can also be used as an additional reference during assembly.
The result is a small medieval castle that takes up little space, uses only three sheets of paper for all its parts and still offers some interesting possibilities for those who want to experiment with different arrangements.

Quando publiquei o primeiro post sobre este modelo, o castelo já estava praticamente definido em relação à sua forma e às peças que fariam parte do conjunto. Os templates ainda estavam um pouco desorganizados na tela, mas a ideia geral já era exatamente esta.
Depois fiz uma montagem de teste, principalmente para conferir na prática se todas as peças encaixavam corretamente e também para observar pequenos detalhes que às vezes são difíceis de perceber enquanto trabalhamos apenas no computador.
Esse primeiro teste mostrou também como o modelo é realmente pequeno. Impresso em papel A4, o castelo montado, sem a base, mede aproximadamente 9 cm x 9 cm x 9 cm, enquanto a base opcional mede cerca de 14 cm x 14 cm.
Uma coisa de que gostei especialmente neste projeto é que todo o castelo ocupa apenas três folhas impressas. A primeira página do PDF é apenas a capa e todas as peças necessárias para construir o modelo, incluindo a base opcional, estão distribuídas nas três páginas seguintes.
Como mencionei no post da montagem de teste, nada impede que algumas peças sejam impressas mais de uma vez. Duplicando torres e muralhas, por exemplo, você pode experimentar outras configurações e criar uma versão maior ou diferente do castelo mostrado nas fotos.
A montagem é bastante simples. As peças são numeradas e os locais correspondentes também estão marcados na base. Basta montar cada peça e colá-la sobre a área da base que possui o mesmo número. Simples assim.
As fotos deste post também mostram o modelo por vários ângulos e podem servir como referência adicional durante a montagem.
O resultado é um pequeno castelo medieval que ocupa pouco espaço, utiliza apenas três folhas de papel para todas as peças e ainda permite algumas possibilidades interessantes para quem quiser experimentar outras disposições.
