A project that celebrates music, art, and the magic of papercraft: a 3D frame that recreates the iconic cover of the album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, by The Beatles.

In 1967, the world also experienced the "Summer of Love" in San Francisco, the Six-Day War, and the strengthening of the hippie movement.
Sgt. Pepper revolutionized pop music with its conceptual approach, psychedelia, and layered recordings, an innovative technique in which The Beatles and George Martin overlaid vocals, instruments, and effects on four-track recorders, creating rich sonic textures.
The album also sparked curious theories, such as hidden messages that fans sought by playing the final grooves of the record backward, fueling speculations about mysteries like the "Paul is Dead" theory.
The cover, a cultural mosaic, reflects this effervescence, bringing together figures like Marilyn Monroe, Bob Dylan, Karl Marx, the boxer Sonny Liston, the comedian Stan Laurel, the writer Edgar Allan Poe, The Beatles in their vibrant uniforms, and their wax versions from Madame Tussauds.
Inspired by this masterpiece and its historical context, I created a miniature full of personality. The frame is compact, measuring 8 cm x 8 cm with 3 cm of depth, perfect for decorating your record shelf with a touch of nostalgia.
I divided the scene into ten layers, starting with the background characters, like Poe and Liston, and moving forward to The Beatles (live and wax) in the front, with 2 mm spacing between each layer to create depth.
Each figure was carefully positioned to capture the energy of the original composition, fitted into a simple little box that, when assembled, conveys the magic of Sgt. Pepper.
Building this papercraft was like traveling back to 1967, an era of cultural, sonic, and technological revolution. It’s an ideal project for fans of The Beatles and paper modeling, bringing a piece of pop culture history to your collection.
