The Weekend Pic - Black Pearl Pirate Ship Paper Model - by Olvar

This weekend we have a "great little model" of the Black Pearl, the famous pirate ship from Pirates of Caribbean movies. I said "great" because it is a really beautiful and well done paper model, and said "little" because it is really little, but just in size. This model was created by German designer and modeler Oliver Bizer, aka Olvar and was posted at Papiermodell Austria, a very good forum about paper models. Olvar did an excellent construction report too, full of photos, and you will find the both links, to download the model and to the construction report right below, as well.


Este final de semana nós temos um "grande pequeno modelo" do Pérola Negra, o famoso navio da série de filmes Piratas do Caribe. Eu disse "grande" por que este é um modelo muito bonito e bem feito, e também disse "pequeno" porque ele é realmente pequeno, mas só no tamanho. Ele foi criado pelo designer e modelista alemão Oliver Bizer, aka Olvar, e foi postado no Papiermodell Austria, um ótimo forum gratuíto que trata exclusivamente de modelos de papel. 1948`s Fend Flitzer Three-Wheeled Paper Model - by Kamaboko

This 1948`s Fend Flitzer Three-Wheeled paper model was created by Japanese designer Kamaboko. The Fend Flitzer was a three-wheeled invalid carriage designed and built by Fritz Fend. The Fend Flitzer established many of the basic concepts on which Fend's later Messerschmitt Kabinenroller microcars were developed. About 250 Flitzers were built between 1948 and the end of production in 1951.

Este modelo de papel do Fend Flitzer Three-Wheeled, 1948, foi criado pelo designer japonês Kamaboko. O Fend Flitzer era um veículo de três rodas projetado e construído por Fritz Fend. O Fend Flitzer estabeleceu muitos dos conceitos básicos sobre os quais se desenvolveram os micro-carros Messerschmitt Kabinenroller. Em torno de 250 Flitzers foram construídos entre 1948 e 1951, o ano em que se encerrou sua produção.
