Created by the talented German designer and model maker Jens Neuhaus, from Papier Denkmal website and made up of 178 pieces organized on four sheets of paper (plus four sheets of instructions), this is the paper model in 1/160 scale of the Ennepetal Railway Station, in Germany.
When a railway was built in the area between the Rhine and the Ruhr in the 19th century, a small railway station was also built in the Ennepe Valley.
The first train arrived at the new Milspe station on the Bergisch-Märkische route between Elberfeld and Dortmund on 9 March 1849.
The small half-timbered house with timber cladding was initially single-storey, but underwent several additions and conversions at the turn of the century.
After the communities of Milspe and Voerde merged to form the new town of Ennepetal in 1949, the station was given the name Ennepetal-Milspe in 1954.
The name changed again in 1968 because the Gevelsberg railway station to the northeast was abandoned. Since then, the name Ennepetal (Gevelsberg) has been in use.
Today, the station building is one of the oldest in West Germany and has been a listed architectural heritage site since the 1980s.
This papercraft, which is in scale 1/160, allows you to recreate the Ennepetal (Gevelsberg) railway station as it was in 2021, when the building was dismantled for renovations and improvements.

Quando uma ferrovia foi construída na área entre o Reno e o Ruhr no século XIX, uma pequena estação ferroviária também foi construída no vale do Ennepe.
