WWI`s Albatross D.V German Aircraft Paper Model In SD Style by Paper Factory

The Japanese designer Taki, from Paper Factory website, created this beautiful paper model in SD style (super deformed style) of the German fighter Albatros D.V. The Albatros D.V was a fighter aircraft built by the Albatros Flugzeugwerke and used by the Luftstreitkräfte (Imperial German Air Service) during World War I. The D.V was the final development of the Albatros D.I family and the last Albatros fighter to see operational service. Despite its well-known shortcomings and general obsolescence, approximately 900 D.V and 1,612 D.Va aircraft were built before production halted in early 1918. The D.Va continued in operational service until the end of the war.

Judging by the theme, I venture to say that this model was originally published between the 1914 and 1918.

Japanese designer Taki, from Paper Factory website, said: - "These are not accurate models. They are called SD (super deformed) models. Although it's basically a paper job, you can use toothpicks and bamboo chopsticks in addition to paper. For anyone who has never set up a paper model, it may be a bit difficult the first time, but if you put some machines together you end up getting the hang of it. The development is basically handmade. Do not worry about failures and mistakes. Do this as fun and not as an obligation."

Ainda que seja basicamente um trabalho em papel, você pode usar palitos de dente e pauzinhos de bambu, além do papel. Para quem nunca montou um modelo de papel, pode ser um pouco difícil na primeira vez, mas se você montar algumas máquinas você acaba pegando o jeito. O desenvolvimento é basicamente artesanal. Created by Japanese designer and modeler Shigeru Takigami, this is the paper model version in SD syle (super deformed style) of the WWI`s Sopwith Camel. - The Sopwith Camel was a British First World War single-seat biplane fighter introduced on the Western Front in 1917. Manufactured by Sopwith Aviation Company, it had a short-coupled fuselage, heavy, powerful rotary engine, and concentrated fire from twin synchronized machine guns. Though difficult to handle, to an experienced pilot it provided unmatched manoeuvrability. A superlative fighter, the Camel was credited with shooting down 1,294 enemy aircraft, more than any other Allied fighter of the war. Near the end of the conflict, it also served as a ground-attack aircraft. - Wikipedia

M.A.G. - Fokker D VII Aircraft Paper Model In 1/64 Scaleby Paper Diorama

Offered by Paper Diorama, Italian website, this is the paper model version in 1/64 scale of the M.A.G.-Fokker D VII, a formidable aircraft that the Armistice ending WWI specifically called for all surviving D.VIIs be delivered to the Allies. The United States picked up a few for testing, but nothing ever came of the effort. However, other countries used them operationally. One country, the Hungarian Soviet Republic used a number of D.VIIs in the Hungarian/Romanian War of 1919. This paper model is based on this Hungarian version.

Created by Japanese designer and modeler Propeller Factory, this is the paper model version in SD style (super deformed style) of the famous Fokker Dr.I, or Fokker Triplane, a World War I fighter aircraft built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke.
The Dr.I saw widespread service in the spring of 1918. It became famous as the aircraft in which Manfred von Richthofen, the Red Baron, gained his last 19 victories, and in which he was killed on 21 April 1918.

Criada pelo designer e modelista japonês Propeller Factory, esta é a versão em papel em estilo SD (estilo super deformado) do famoso Fokker Dr.I, ou Fokker Triplane, um avião de combate da Primeira Guerra Mundial construído pela Fokker-Flugzeugwerke.
O Dr. I voou em combate pela primeira vez na primavera de 1918. Tornou-se famoso como a aeronave em que Manfred von Richthofen, o Barão Vermelho, ganhou suas últimas 19 vitórias, e em que foi morto em 21 de abril de 1918.

I created detailed instructions full of photos, to help those who want to assemble this model.

The approximate scale is 1/24, so it's not a small model. When printed on A4 sheets it measures 15 cms high, 23 cms long and 13.5 cm wide.

The Colombian modeler Rubenandres77, from Paper Modelers Forum, did a great job of research and found 11 Free paper models of World War I`s airplanes of a specific model: the Fokker Dr1.
