Super Mario Bros Wonder - Mumsie Paper Toy - by Kooky Craftables

Jon Landis, graphic designer and creator of Kooky Craftables website says: - "When I first saw a Mumsie in the Super Mario Bros Wonder videogame, I knew I had to make him into a paper toy. 

Mumsies are mummy-like enemies that wear a very tall headgear made of bandages that make them very hard to jump over. 

Unfortunately for the Mumsies, they also have a loose tail, so Mario and friends can pull it to defeat them. Let this paper craft always remind you that no matter how tall an obstacle might seem, you can overcome it if you're clever!" 

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a 2023 platform game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. 

It is the first traditional side-scrolling Super Mario game since New Super Mario Bros. U (2012). The game received critical acclaim.

Mumsies são inimigos parecidos com múmias que usam uma couraça muito alta feito de bandagens que os tornam muito difíceis de pular. Infelizmente para os Mumsies, eles também têm o rabo solto, então Mario e seus amigos podem puxá-lo para derrotá-los. 

Deixe este paper toy sempre lembrá-lo de que não importa quão alto um obstáculo possa parecer, você pode superá-lo se for inteligente!" 

Super Mario Bros. Wonder é um jogo de plataforma de 2023 desenvolvido e publicado pela Nintendo para o Nintendo Switch. 

Este é o primeiro jogo tradicional de Super Mario em deslocamento lateral desde New Super Mario Bros. U (2012). O jogo recebeu aclamação da crítica especializada.

An Easy-To-Build U.F.O. Paper Model - Version II - by Papermau Download Now!

This is the second version of a papercraft I made of an U.F.O. (Unidentified Flying Object).

The first was published here on the blog in 2016 and then reposted in 2021. It was missing the landing support tabs, a problem that has been corrected in this new version. 

Another thing is that the first version had no colors and in this new one I added textures trying to imitate shiny metal, a material that seems to be used a lot in flying saucers seen around the world. 

The most intriguing thing about these is that, with all the technology we have, where anyone has smartphones in their hands that can photograph and film in very high resolution, sightings are always recorded with poor images and generally from very far away... the aliens are probably very shy. 

As for assembly, there is no secret: there are few pieces that fit together almost like a sandwich. 

The supports, or feet, can be glued freely, three of which, like the one I assembled, already support the spacecraft, but you can use four or even six supports. 

The entire model takes up two printed sheets and the download, as usual, is easy and safe, directly from Google Drive. Have fun!

Esta é a segunda versão de um papercraft que fiz de um O.V.N.I (Objeto Voador Não Identificado). 

O primeiro foi publicado aqui no blog em 2016 e depois repostado em 2021. Nele faltavam as abas dos suportes de aterrissagem, problema que foi corrigido nessa nova versão. 

Outra coisa é que a primeira versão não tinha cores e nessa nova eu adicionei texturas tentando imitar metal reluzente, material que parece ser muito usado em discos voadores avistados mundo afora. 

O mais intrigante nesses é que, com toda a tecnologia que temos, onde qualquer pessoa tem em mãos smartphones que podem fotografar e filmar em altíssima resolução, os avistamentos são sempre registrados com imagens sofríveis e geralmente de muito longe...provavelmente os aliens são muito tímidos. 

Quanto a montagem, não há segredo: são poucas peças que se encaixam quase como um sanduíche. 

Os suportes, ou pés, podem ser colados livremente, sendo que três, como o que eu montei, já dão sustentação a espaçonave, mas você pode usar quatro ou até mesmo seis suportes. 

O modelo todo ocupa duas folhas impressas e o download, como de praxe, é fácil e seguro, direto do Google Drive. Boa montagem!

The Little Czech Beer Truck Paper Model - by YM Junior Design

This Little Beer Truck paper model was created by Czech designer YM Junior, from YM Junior Design website. 

The site unfortunately no longer exists, but as I had the template saved on my old CDs, I decided to publish it here on the blog, hosting the file on Google Drive. 

The model is available in two colors, green and yellow, and you will need three sheets of paper to assemble each one.

Este modelo de papel de um Pequeno Caminhão de Cerveja foi criado pelo designer tcheco YM Junior, do site YM Junior Design. 

O site infelizmente não existe mais, mas como eu tinha o template salvo em meus velhos cds, resolvi publicá-lo aqui no blog, hospedando o arquivo no Google Drive. 

O modelo está disponível em duas cores, verde e amarelo, e você precisará de três folhas de papel para montar cada um deles.

Mercedes Benz BB40 MB Actros Paper Model In 1/100 Scale by Bucobox

Taking up two printed sheets, this paper model of the Mercedes Benz BB40 MB Actros truck, in tiny 1/100 scale, was created by Czech designer Bucobox and was originally published on the Minimodel.CZ website. 

If you intend to assemble this model, when you visit the website, notice that below the main photo there is a series of smaller photos. 

Click on one of them to open a high-resolution gallery with step-by-step instructions for assembling this truck. 

Know that you will have to have good eyes and steady hands, as the model is really tiny as the 1/110 scale is almost 25% smaller than the 1/64 scale, famous for being the scale of the famous Hot Wheels cars.
