This is the second version of a papercraft I made of an U.F.O. (Unidentified Flying Object).
The first was published here on the blog in 2016 and then reposted in 2021. It was missing the landing support tabs, a problem that has been corrected in this new version.
Another thing is that the first version had no colors and in this new one I added textures trying to imitate shiny metal, a material that seems to be used a lot in flying saucers seen around the world.
The most intriguing thing about these is that, with all the technology we have, where anyone has smartphones in their hands that can photograph and film in very high resolution, sightings are always recorded with poor images and generally from very far away... the aliens are probably very shy.
As for assembly, there is no secret: there are few pieces that fit together almost like a sandwich.
The supports, or feet, can be glued freely, three of which, like the one I assembled, already support the spacecraft, but you can use four or even six supports.
The entire model takes up two printed sheets and the download, as usual, is easy and safe, directly from Google Drive. Have fun!
Esta é a segunda versão de um papercraft que fiz de um O.V.N.I (Objeto Voador Não Identificado).
O primeiro foi publicado aqui no blog em 2016 e depois repostado em 2021. Nele faltavam as abas dos suportes de aterrissagem, problema que foi corrigido nessa nova versão.
Outra coisa é que a primeira versão não tinha cores e nessa nova eu adicionei texturas tentando imitar metal reluzente, material que parece ser muito usado em discos voadores avistados mundo afora.
O mais intrigante nesses é que, com toda a tecnologia que temos, onde qualquer pessoa tem em mãos smartphones que podem fotografar e filmar em altíssima resolução, os avistamentos são sempre registrados com imagens sofríveis e geralmente de muito longe...provavelmente os aliens são muito tímidos.
Quanto a montagem, não há segredo: são poucas peças que se encaixam quase como um sanduíche.
Os suportes, ou pés, podem ser colados livremente, sendo que três, como o que eu montei, já dão sustentação a espaçonave, mas você pode usar quatro ou até mesmo seis suportes.
