Ravage Doggy Mecha Creature Papercraft In PDO Format by Szigetiart

Created by the talented designer Szigetiart and originally published at the official Pepakura Community website, this curious papercraft called “Ravage Doggy” is a great example of the creativity and technical quality often found in the international papercraft scene. Combining stylized shapes, mechanical details and a playful yet slightly menacing appearance, the model has a strong visual presence and will certainly appeal to fans of robotic creatures, science fiction and videogame-inspired characters.

The model is hosted at the Pepakura Community website, an online platform managed by Tamasoft, the Japanese company responsible for creating Pepakura Designer and Pepakura Viewer, two of the most important programs in the world of papercrafting. For many years, the Pepakura Community has served as a meeting point for designers and hobbyists from all around the world, allowing creators to publish their works, exchange experiences and share original templates in PDO format.

Unlike traditional PDF papercrafts, PDO files are interactive and can be viewed in three dimensions through the Pepakura Viewer software. This allows users to rotate the model, zoom in on specific parts and better understand the assembly process before cutting and folding the pieces. Because of this, PDO-based models are especially popular among more experienced hobbyists and designers who create detailed and complex projects.

To view and print this model, you will need the Free Version of Pepakura Viewer. When opening the file, a password request window may appear. Simply ignore it and click the option “Open with Pepakura Viewer,” which appears just below the password field. The model will open normally in viewing mode and can be printed without problems.

If you still do not have Pepakura Viewer installed on your computer, don’t worry: at the end of this post, just below the download link for this model, you will also find the link to download the official software for free directly from the Tamasoft website.

Mustached Bomber Paper Toy In Super Bomberman Style by Mark Productions

This fun paper toy represents Mustached Bomber, a humorous mashup character that mixes the classic look of Mario with the cute proportions and explosive style of Bomberman. Created in a colorful Super Bomberman-inspired style, the character combines the famous mustache, red outfit and cheerful appearance associated with Nintendo’s legendary plumber with the compact body and simple geometric design typical of Bomberman games. The model comes in PDF format and occupies three printed sheets, featuring enough details to make it visually attractive while still remaining relatively easy and fun to assemble. Blade Runner Type-S Yellow Coupe Papercraft Inspired By Syd Mead’s Futuristic Designs - by Joshua Humphreys

Created by designer and Blade Runner fan Alex Gwynne, this very original papercraft recreates the fictional “Type-S Yellow Coupe”, a futuristic vehicle inspired by the legendary visual concepts of Syd Mead for the classic movie Blade Runner. The model captures perfectly that retro-futuristic aesthetic that transformed the film into one of the greatest milestones in science fiction cinema.

Unlike the famous Police Spinner vehicles prominently seen throughout the movie, this yellow coupe was based on one of the many background cars briefly appearing on the streets of the futuristic Los Angeles imagined in Blade Runner. Even appearing for only a few moments on screen, the design clearly carries Syd Mead’s unmistakable influence, mixing sharp geometric lines, industrial forms, oversized panels and that very characteristic “future imagined in the 1980s” look that still feels convincing and fascinating today.

The papercraft itself looks very well designed and relatively compact, making it a great weekend project for fans of sci-fi vehicles, cyberpunk aesthetics and movie memorabilia. The model features a vibrant yellow color scheme with dark windows and clean body details, giving it the appearance of a futuristic taxi, commuter vehicle or even a corporate transport car directly from Blade Runner’s rainy streets. Depending on the scale used, it could also work very well as scenery for tabletop RPGs, wargames or futuristic dioramas.

For assembly, paper between 120 and 180 grams should work very nicely, offering enough rigidity without making the smaller folds difficult to handle. A good pair of scissors or a sharp hobby knife, a metal ruler and white glue are probably all you need to build this futuristic little machine. Builders who enjoy customization can also add subtle weathering, rust or neon reflections to give the vehicle an even more authentic cyberpunk appearance.

Syd Mead, often called a “visual futurist”, helped define not only the visual identity of Blade Runner, but also movies such as Tron, Aliens and 2010. His futuristic concepts continue inspiring artists, designers, videogames and papercraft creators around the world even decades later.

Pokemon Chikorita Paper Toy - Easy One Sheet Free Papercraft by Ten Pepakura

From the Pokémon universe, here is Chikorita in a cute and easy-to-build free paper toy version created by the Japanese designer Ten Pepakura. Offered as a printable papercraft template on the author’s official blog, this model is compact, charming and perfect for Pokémon fans, beginners in papercraft or anyone looking for a quick and relaxing project to build in just one evening.

Chikorita is one of the starter Pokémon from Pokémon Gold and Silver, released for the Nintendo Game Boy in 1999. Unlike Pikachu’s electric personality, Chikorita belongs to the Grass type and became known for its calm and friendly appearance, especially because of the large green leaf on top of its head, one of the character’s most recognizable visual elements. Over the years, Chikorita gained a loyal fan base thanks to the anime series and its many appearances in Pokémon games and spin-offs.

Because the model is compact, lighter paper between 120g and 160g usually works better than very thick cardstock, especially around the smaller tabs and curved parts.

Desktop Architecture - The Old Church - A 2007 Original Miniature Paper Model - by Papermau - Download Now!

This miniature paper model of a small church was originally created in 2007 and was part of a series called Desktop Architecture.

At the time, I shared it and the rest of the series on some papercraft forums. Then, in 2011, with the creation of the Papermau blog, I published the series again in one or two posts. These posts are still here on the blog, but the download links no longer work.

So far, I have found five parts of this series on old CDs and USB sticks, and not all of them have the same style or scale.

Today I continue publishing these models, this time with this small church surrounded by two leafless trees, giving it a slightly rustic and atmospheric look.

The entire model takes up just one printed sheet, including the base, and is very easy to assemble.

The finished model measures approximately 8 cm wide, 6 cm deep and about 6 cm tall. Because it is so small and delicate, it is perfect for decorating shelves or work desks, which is exactly the idea behind the name Desktop Architecture.

Este modelo em miniatura de uma pequena igreja foi originalmente criado em 2007 e fazia parte de uma série chamada Desktop Architecture.

Na época, compartilhei este modelo e o restante da série em alguns fóruns de papercraft. Depois, em 2011, com a criação do blog Papermau, publiquei novamente essa série em um ou dois posts. Esses posts ainda estão aqui no blog, mas os links para download não funcionam mais.

Até agora encontrei cinco partes dessa série em CDs e pen drives antigos, e nem todas seguem o mesmo estilo ou escala.

Hoje continuo republicando esses modelos, desta vez com esta pequena igreja acompanhada de duas árvores sem folhas nas laterais, o que dá ao conjunto um visual simples e um pouco mais atmosférico.

O modelo completo ocupa apenas uma folha impressa, incluindo a base, e é muito fácil de montar.

O modelo montado mede aproximadamente 8 cm de largura, 6 cm de profundidade e cerca de 6 cm de altura. Por ser pequeno e delicado, é perfeito para decorar estantes ou mesas de trabalho, o que explica o nome Desktop Architecture.

This detailed free Minecraft-style papercraft diorama recreates a peaceful village scene inspired by the Riverside Villages from the game, bringing that familiar blocky atmosphere to life in a rich and immersive miniature environment, much like other classic characters such as Minecraft Steve.

The scene features a charming rustic house made of wood and stone, layered terrain with elevation changes, trees with cubic foliage, small plants, torches, and a cozy campfire area, all arranged in a compact base that looks great from multiple angles, almost like a slice taken directly from the game world, similar in style to other miniature papercraft models.

Even though the river itself is not included, the composition clearly evokes that riverside feeling, with paths, vegetation and layout elements that resemble a quiet survival setup typical of Minecraft villages.

The instructions are very well made, with clear illustrated guides showing exactly where each small piece should be placed, making the assembly process much easier and more enjoyable.

Building this model feels a bit like assembling a LEGO set, but using paper instead of plastic and, as expected, you will need to carefully cut, fold, and glue each piece to bring the scene to life, resulting in a richly detailed miniature environment ideal for display. A project that requires patience, but rewards you with a beautiful final result.
