This free RMS Titanic papercraft lets you build a detailed 1/1200 scale model of one of the most famous ships in history, based on the original Currell Graphics design.
On the Currell Graphics website you’ll find two beautiful paper models of the legendary RMS Titanic. One represents the real ship as it sailed in 1912, and the other is based on the version seen in the 1980 movie Raise The Titanic. Both are free to download and offer a great building experience for anyone who enjoys clean, well-designed miniatures.
The main model is built at 1/1200 scale and measures about 23 centimeters long when completed. It is a waterline style design, showing only the part of the ship above the water, which makes assembly easier and gives it a neat display look.
The download includes six pages of illustrated instructions, two pages of parts, and an optional display base.
The second version, inspired by Raise The Titanic, was created by Jerry Vondeling using the original Currell model as a base. It features a different color scheme and details to match the look of the movie ship, and it also comes with its own instruction and parts sheets.
The site is maintained by Ralph Currell, who has been sharing free printable paper models of all kinds for many years. All files are in PDF format and are best printed on slightly thicker paper, such as cover stock.
The difficulty level is rated as medium, making it a good challenge for hobbyists with some previous experience.
