This Side Up! - A Generic Wooden Crate Paper Model - by PapermauDownload Now!

I was messing around in MsPaint and Sketchup and came up with this generic wooden crate that might be useful to someone. 

Since I didn't have a good name for it, I decided to call it "This Side Up!" Maybe someone can use it for dioramas or wargames, or even use it as a gift box. 

Anyway, I had fun creating it and so as not to forget it in some folder on my crowded computer, I decided to share the template here on the blog. 

I have a lot of these silly models that I create as a distraction and I'll post some here on the blog every now and then. 

For those interested, the download, as usual, is easy and safe, direct from Google Drive. Good fun!

Eu estava brincando no MsPaint e Sketchup e criei este caixote de madeira genérico que talvez seja útil para alguém. 

Como não tinha um bom nome para ele, resolvi chamá-lo de "Este Lado Para Cima!" Talvez alguém possa aproveitá-lo para dioramas ou para wargames, ou ainda possa usá-lo como caixinha de presente. 

De qualquer forma, eu me diverti o criando e para simplesmente não esquecê-lo em alguma pasta do meu abarrotado computador, resolvi compartilhar o template aqui no blog. 

Eu tenho muitos desses modelos bobinhos que crio como distração e de vez em quando vou postar alguns aqui no blog.

Transformers - Optimus Prime And Megatron Paper Toys - by Cubefold

These are Optimus Prime and Megatron, from Transformers movies series, here in nice paper toy versions created by North American designer Calvin Nicholas Lin, from Cubefold website. 

Optimus Prime and Megatron are iconic characters in the Transformers franchise. They are rival leaders of the Autobots and Decepticons factions, respectively. 

Optimus Prime is known as the leader of the Autobots. He is an alien robot with the ability to transform into a truck. 

He is admired for his courage, leadership, and sense of justice. He always seeks to protect humanity and defend freedom against the threats of the Decepticons. 

Optimus Prime is known for his famous line, "Autobots, transform and roll out!" 

On the other hand, Megatron is the cruel and relentless leader of the Decepticons. He transforms into a powerful weapon, usually a tank or a jet. 

He seeks to conquer the universe and impose his dominion over other races and is seen as an ambitious and unscrupulous villain, willing to do anything to achieve his goals. 

Throughout the history of Transformers, Optimus Prime and Megatron are portrayed as mortal enemies, constantly fighting for the fate of the universe. 

Their epic battles are a trademark of the franchise and have captivated fans worldwide.

Estes são o Optimus Prime e o Megatron, da franquia de filmes Transformers, aqui em versões paper toy bem legais criadas pelo designer norte-americano Calvin Nicholas Lin, do site Cubefold. 

Optimus Prime e Megatron são personagens icônicos da franquia Transformers. Eles são líderes rivais das facções Autobots e Decepticons, respectivamente. 

Ele é conhecido como o líder dos Autobots. Ele é um robô alienígena com a habilidade de se transformar em um caminhão.

Kuba Komet Entertainment System Paper Model - by PapermauDownload Now!

I created this paper model of the Kuba Komet and posted it here on Papermau in 2016. Then, with the massive virus attack that the blog suffered in 2019, nearly two thousand posts had to be deleted and recreated from scratch. The post about the Kuba Komet was one of them. 

Unfortunately, I lost the original template in the process (in fact, I lost many original models during that time) and only now, with the advent of artificial intelligence tools that enhance the definition of low-resolution images, I managed to obtain a template with satisfactory definition to repost here on the blog. 

So, fulfilling a request from Skillcrane, today I present again the paper model of the Kuba Komet Entertainment System, which can be easily and safely downloaded directly from Google Drive. Enjoy assembling it! 

The Kuba Komet Entertainment System was an entertainment system manufactured in West Germany between 1957 and 1962. It was considered one of the most advanced entertainment systems of its time and became an icon in the German electronics industry. 

The Kuba Komet was designed as a multifunctional entertainment console that combined radio, record player, and television in a single device. This integrated approach was innovative for its time and allowed people to have access to various forms of entertainment in one device.

The design of the Kuba Komet was quite distinctive, with an elegant and futuristic cabinet. It often featured curved lines, wood finish, and chrome details, making it a prominent object in households at the time. 

Due to its historical value and limited production, there are only a few preserved specimens of the Kuba Komet Entertainment System. These specimens are highly valued by collectors due to their rarity and their status as a landmark in the history of consumer electronics.

O Kuba Komet Entertainment System era um sistema de entretenimento fabricado na Alemanha Ocidental entre 1957 e 1962. Foi considerado um dos sistemas de entretenimento mais avançados da época e se tornou um ícone da indústria eletrônica da Alemanha. 

O Kuba Komet foi projetado como um console de entretenimento multifuncional que combinava rádio, toca-discos e televisão em um único aparelho. Essa abordagem integrada era inovadora para a época e permitia que as pessoas tivessem acesso a diversas formas de entretenimento em um único dispositivo. 

O design do Kuba Komet era bastante distintivo, com um gabinete elegante e futurista. Geralmente, apresentava linhas curvas, acabamento em madeira e detalhes cromados, o que o tornava um objeto de destaque nas casas da época. 

Devido ao seu valor histórico e ao fato de ser produzido em uma quantidade limitada, existem apenas alguns exemplares preservados do Kuba Komet Entertainment System. 1970`s Plymouth Road Runner Superbird Paper Model In 1/35 Scaleby Paper Diorama

Offered by Paper Diorama website, from Italy, here is a very well-made paper model of the Plymouth Superbird in 1/35 scale. 

The entire model only occupies three printed sheets, including the base where it can be displayed. 

The Plymouth Superbird is an iconic vehicle from the era of muscle cars. It was created by Nichols Engineering, a branch of the Chrysler automaker responsible for building Stock Cars.

It was delivered to test driver Ramo Stott from Iowa, who immediately took it to the Daytona Races. In February 1970, it won the ARCA 300, the first of many victories. 

The Superbird was designed to compete in NASCAR (National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing) and its aerodynamics were a standout feature. It had an elongated nose and a giant rear wing, providing greater stability and grip at high speeds. 

It was produced in a limited quantity to meet NASCAR homologation requirements. Only about 1,935 units were manufactured, making it a rare and sought-after vehicle among collectors. 

With its distinctive appearance and exceptional performance, the Superbird achieved great success in NASCAR races. In 1970, driver Richard Petty claimed multiple victories behind the wheel of a Superbird, including the legendary Daytona 500.
