Japanese company Sasatoku Printing offers a charming free papercraft project that combines a small decorative suitcase with miniature three-dimensional scenes. Part of the Pepakura Pack series, the model resembles a little book or suitcase that opens to reveal two colorful scenes inspired by Japanese culture, including Children's Day and the rainy season.
Besides being a decorative piece, the little suitcase can also be used as an original gift box for candy, small toys, or other little presents. With its cheerful colors and many details, this creative project combines paper crafting, decoration, and reusable gift packaging.
Below you will find the link to download the templates for free directly from Sasatoku's website. The page is in Japanese, but the process is relatively simple. The black button displays the terms of use, the red button leads to the video tutorial, and the yellow button starts the download process.
In the next window, select the first option on the left, corresponding to personal use, and confirm. Then download the available PDF files in A3 and A4 formats. Please note that you need all five files to complete the model: three A3 files and two A4 files, as they contain complementary parts of the same project.
