Good night friends. Sunday, sixteenth day of quarantine. Here in Brazil we have 22,169 infected and 1,223 deaths caused by the CHINESE VIRUS, better known as Covid 19.

I wasn't even going to write today, but on the internet I saw (yes, on the internet, because on television channels and newspapers, in the official media, you won't know that) the public demonstrations, especially here in São Paulo, against Lock Down, the mandatory confinement and, most importantly, against the arbitrary and disgusting cell phone monitoring done by the ambitious and despicable state governor, João Doria (I talked about it yesterday).

You see, it's not about denying the seriousness of the situation, the virus exists and is everywhere, but the truth is that nobody really knows what to do, everything is new and nobody has the answer. The imposition of confinement is not certain to improve the situation. What we see in the official media on a daily basis are the numbers of people killed and contaminated, but there is no mention of the number of people who heal, who improve. The alarmism is so great that they make long stories showing recently opened graves in cemeteries, but they do not make it clear that they are not just for victims of the CHINESE VIRUS.

Every time a Governor or Mayor imposes a law that diminishes our freedoms, we have to understand that it will be very difficult to reverse these impositions. It is the perfect paradise for tyrants and dictators, corrupt and scoundrels on duty. Just as the world economy can be stopped in one day, as it really was, but it may take years to get back to where it left off, our democratic conquests and our freedom, which are taking away or trying to take away in disguise, will be very difficult to regain. The scoundrels who now take the opportunity to impose their will, will not give in so easily after all this is over.

Will our children and grandchildren, as well as the children and grandchildren of the Germans after World War II, also ask us why we let it happen, why we did nothing? Conspiracy theory, some will say. Really? Can you at least consider this possibility?

Boa noite, amigos. Domingo, décimo sexto dia da quarentena. Aqui no Brasil temos 22.169 infectados e 1.223 mortes causadas pelo VÍRUS CHINÊS, mais conhecido como Covid 19.

Eu nem ia escrever hoje, mas na internet vi (sim, na internet, porque nos canais de televisão e jornais, na mídia oficial, você não vai saber disso) as manifestações públicas, principalmente aqui em São Paulo, contra o Lock Down, o confinamento obrigatório e, mais importante, contra o arbitrário e nojento monitoramento feito por celulares feito pelo ambicioso e desprezível governador do Estado, João Doria (falei sobre isso ontém).

Veja bem, não se trata de negar a gravidade da situação, o vírus existe e está em todo lugar, mas a verdade é que ninguém sabe realmente o que fazer, tudo é novo e ninguém tem a resposta. A imposição de confinamento não é certeza de melhora da situação. O que vemos na mídia oficial diariamente são os números de mortos e contaminados, mas não se fala no número de pessoas que se curam, que melhoram. O alarmismo é tanto que fazem longas matérias mostrando covas recém abertas em cemitérios, mas não deixam claro que elas não são apenas pra vítimas do VÍRUS CHINÊS.

Cada vez que um Governador ou prefeito impõe uma lei diminuindo nossas liberdades, temos que entender que será muito difícil voltar atrás nessas imposições. É o paraíso perfeito para tiranos e ditadores, corruptos e canalhas de plantão. Assim como a economia mundial pode ser parada em um dia, como realmente foi feito, mas levam-se anos talvez para que ela volte ao ponto em que parou, nossas conquistas democráticas e nossa liberdade, que estão tirando ou tentando tirar disfarçadamente, serão muito difíceis de serem reconquistadas. Os canalhas que agora aproveitam para impor suas vontades, não cederão tão fácil depois que tudo isto tiver passado.

Será que nossos filhos e netos, assim como os filhos e netos dos alemães após a Segunda Grande Guerra, também não perguntarão para nós porquê deixamos isso acontecer, porquê não fizemos nada? Teoria da conspiração, alguns dirão. Será mesmo? Você pode ao menos aventar esta possibilidade?

Vejo você amanhã. Se cuidem, lavem as mãos, usem máscaras, blá, blá, blá...

My friend Holger, from Kallboys website, shares with us a beautiful paper model of a yacht, the Apollo. He said: - "In addition to the boathouses of the rowing clubs and yacht clubs in the Mondorf marina, motor and sailing yachts of very different colors are located at the moorings. Almost everything is represented, from luxury yachts to houseboats and racing boats to rubber dinghies. This Mondorf craft sheet is representative of all the private boats that can mostly be seen on the Rhine on weekends and that help shape the face of the river. The model has 197 parts and is in 1/40 scale. It contains a stand that is reminiscent of a kithara. In Greek mythology, the god Apollo is often represented with this instrument."

Ele disse: - "Além dos clubes de regata e iate clubes da marina de Mondorf, nos ancoradouros se encontram muitos iates a motor e à vela de cores diferentes. Quase tudo está representado lá, desde iates de luxo a casas flutuantes e barcos de corrida a botes de borracha. Esta modelo de papel é uma representação de todos os barcos particulares que podem ser vistos principalmente no Reno nos fins de semana e que ajudam a moldar a face do rio. O modelo tem 197 partes e está na escala 1/40. Ele contém um suporte que lembra uma cítara. Na mitologia grega, o deus Apolo é frequentemente representado com este instrumento."

Hello everybody. Today, the fifteenth day of the quarantine and yesterday Brazil reached the sad mark of a thousand deaths by the CHINESE VIRUS, also known as Covid 19. Today the official count is 1,124 dead and 20,727 infected. I read with sadness that the United States has 19,882 deaths and half a million infected and Italy is right behind with 19,468 deaths and 152,271 infected.

Here in São Paulo, our brilliant and ambitious governor João Doria had the brilliant idea of ​​monitoring (spying) the residents of the state through their cell phones to know who leaves home and where they are going. The astute ruler made a deal with the telephone companies to find out where the citizens are going and forgot to do the same with the more than 1,500 convicts who were released to serve "prison at home" across the state, due to the risk of contamination in prisons . So you see how great it is: arrest the good men and release the criminals. Not to mention that the commerce (stores in general) is prohibited throughout Brazil, but drug traffickers continue to work freely in the open-air Cracolandias spread across the country.

Here at home we look forward to seeing if the quarantine really ends on the 23rd now. Probably not. Most likely, there will be a partial release of street commerce. We'll see.

Olá para todos. Hoje, décimo quinto dia da quarentena e ontém o Brasil atingiu a triste marca de mil mortos pelo VÍRUS CHINÊS, também conhecido como Covid 19. Hoje a contagem oficial soma 1.124 mortos e 20.727 infectados. Leio com tristeza que os Estados Unidos somam 19.882 mortes e meio milhão de infectados e a Itália vem logo atrás com 19.468 mortes e 152.271 infectados.

Aqui em São Paulo, nosso genial e ambicioso governador João Doria teve a brilhante idéia de monitorar (espionar) os moradores do Estado através de seus celulares, para saber quem sai de casa e para onde vão. O astucioso governante fez acordo com as companhias de telefonia para saber aonde vão os cidadãos e esqueceu de fazer o mesmo com os mais de 1.500 condenados que foram libertados para cumprir "prisão em casa" em todo o Estado, devido ao risco de contaminação nas prisões. Então vejam bem que genial: prendam os homens de bem e soltem os criminosos. Sem contar que o comércio, lojas em geral, está proibido em todo o Brasil, mas os traficantes de drogas continuam trabalhando livremente nas Cracolândias à céu aberto espalhadas por todo o país.

Aqui em casa esperamos ansiosos para ver se a quarentena relamente terminará dia 23 agora. Provável que não. O mais provável é que haja uma liberação parcial do comércio de rua. Veremos.
