Para defender a idéia da quarentena total, o Ministro da Saúde, Luiz Henrique Mandetta, diz que além de evitar o contágio, o isolamento social evita que pessoas sobrecarreguem hospitais por outros motivos além da covid-19. "Quando a gente manda parar, diminuem acidentes, diminuem traumas e aumentam leitos de UTI quando precisarmos. Diminuem politraumatizados na UTI e aumenta espaço para os internados por viroses. Ou seja, mais um benefício quando a gente manda parar, além de diminuir a transmissão"....
Segundo o jornalista Daniel Schultz, a Coreia do Sul adotou a política de isolamento e a epidemia parecia sob controle. Até que apareceu a paciente 31. Essa paciente, apesar de apresentar febre alta, ignorou a recomendação de ser testada em duas visitas ao hospital em Daegu, e em vez disso frequentou ativamente os cultos de sua igreja. Não sou leviano ou preconceituoso quando digo que o povo brasileiro não é o mais disciplinado e seguidor de regras. Aqui costuma se dizer que há leis que "pegam" e leis que "não pegam", por isso essa quarentena vai ser meio complicada por aqui.
Bem, noite passada assistimos ao "Rocky IV", um dos melhores da franquia na minha opinião. Hoje talvez eu assista ao "O Farol", com Willem Dafoe e Robert Pattinson. Também pretendo assistir novamente ao "Scarface", o original de 1932, um ótimo filme de um tempo em que as interpretações eram mais exageradas, o que de modo algum tira o brilho da história.
