Old Tower In Ranzel And St. Aegidius Chapel Paper Model In HO Scale by Kallboys

This is model number 96 in the Mondorfer Bastelbogen series, created by the talented team of designers from the Kallboys website. The papercraft depicts the Alter Turm in Ranzel and the former Ägidiuskapelle, real buildings closely connected to the local history of the Ranzel region in Germany. 

The model is inspired by a rather unusual real-life episode in which part of the original chapel was demolished to allow the expansion of a road, leaving only the tower preserved, thanks to the efforts of the local community. 

This historical background gives the papercraft a special character, making it not only an architectural paper model but also a three-dimensional record of a heritage site that nearly disappeared. 

The set includes three distinct models, all in 1/87 scale (HO scale). One represents the Alter Turm of Ranzel in its current condition, while the other two show the Ägidiuskapelle in larger versions, allowing a clear comparison of structural and volumetric differences. 

The composition shown in the photo highlights this very well, with the three buildings displayed side by side, revealing variations in color, texture, and proportions. Este é o modelo 96 da série Mondorfer Bastelbogen criado pela talentosa equipe de designers do site Kallboys. O papercraft tem como tema o Alter Turm in Ranzel e a antiga Ägidiuskapelle, construções reais ligadas à história local da região de Ranzel, na Alemanha. 

O modelo é inspirado em um episódio bastante singular, no qual parte da capela original acabou sendo demolida para a ampliação de uma via urbana, restando preservado apenas o torreão, salvo graças à mobilização da comunidade. 

Esse contexto histórico dá ao papercraft um caráter especial, funcionando não apenas como um modelo arquitetônico em papel, mas também como um registro tridimensional de um patrimônio que quase desapareceu. 

O conjunto inclui três modelos distintos, todos na escala 1/87 (escala HO). Um deles representa o Alter Turm de Ranzel em seu estado atual, enquanto os outros dois mostram a Ägidiuskapelle em versões maiores, permitindo observar diferenças estruturais e volumétricas.
