When I started working on the Fenton Movie Theater papercraft, I decided to research common rooftop architectural elements, things like water tanks, skylights, and bulkheads (those small windowless structures with just a door that provide access to the roof).
While there was plenty of information and imagery available online, I couldn’t find any specific papercraft models of these elements, at least none that I came across.
So I decided to create my own, both for personal use and to share with anyone else who might be interested.
I built models of the three elements mentioned above, and for now, the only thing missing is a few ventilation units, but I’ll leave those for a future update.
As you can see in the photos, the papercrafts are very simple, made from basic geometric shapes. Still, thanks to the textures I applied, the final result turned out pretty convincing.

Quando comecei a trabalhar no papercraft do Fenton Movie Theater, decidi pesquisar na internet sobre elementos arquitetônicos comuns nos topos de prédios, tais como reservatórios de água, claraboias e volumes técnicos (aquelas pequenas estruturas sem janelas, com apenas uma porta, que dão acesso à cobertura).
Apesar de haver muitas imagens e informações sobre esses elementos, não encontrei modelos em papercraft específicos. Pelo menos, não que eu tenha achado.
Então resolvi criar os meus próprios modelos, tanto para uso pessoal quanto para compartilhar com quem também se interessar pelo tema.
Modelei os três elementos citados acima e, por enquanto, ficaram faltando apenas algumas estruturas de ventilação, mas isso deixo para uma próxima etapa.
Como vocês podem ver pelas imagens, os papercrafts são bem simples, compostos de formas geométricas básicas. No entanto, com as texturas aplicadas, o resultado final ficou até bastante convincente.
