Loitz Railway Station In Germany Paper Model in HO Scale by Godwin T. Petermann

This papercraft represents the Loitz railway station, in Germany, and was created by Godwin T. Petermann. It is available for download at the GTP Kartonmodellbau website. 

The model reproduces the station as it looked around 1960, showing the author’s attention to atmosphere and the characteristic details of a typical German railway building from that period. 

The station is in 1/87 scale, the same used in HO railway modeling, making it perfect for dioramas or miniature train layouts. 

It includes ten main sheets with the parts to print and build, plus five optional sheets with doors, windows, and frames. 

These extra pages were prepared by graphic designer Hans-Joachim Zimmer, who recreated the station’s windows in brass for a physical model and later scanned them. 

The result gives the paper version a refined and realistic touch, with particularly delicate window and door shapes. 

The GTP Kartonmodellbau site features several architectural and railway models, all designed by Godwin T. Petermann, who has been sharing his work with the papercraft community for many years. 

The Bahnhof Loitz was one of his first large-scale projects created entirely on the computer and is still remembered in modeling forums for its precision, visual appeal, and careful attention to detail.

O modelo reproduz em papel a estação como ela era por volta de 1960, mostrando o cuidado do autor em recriar a atmosfera e os detalhes característicos de uma construção ferroviária alemã daquele período. 

A estação está na escala 1/87, a mesma usada no modelismo ferroviário HO, o que o torna ideal para quem monta dioramas ou layouts com trens em miniatura. 

São dez folhas com as peças principais para imprimir e montar, além de cinco folhas opcionais com portas, janelas e batentes. 

Essas páginas extras foram preparadas pelo designer gráfico Hans-Joachim Zimmer, que recriou as janelas da maquete original da estação em latão e depois digitalizou o resultado.

Motor Cruiser Yacht Vintage Papercraft - by Julius Bagel via Kartonmodellbau.Org

On the German website Kartonmodellbau.org, maintained by the AGK e.V. association, you can download a very nice and unusual model, the Motor-Kreuzeryacht mit Inneneinrichtung, or in free translation, Motor Cruiser Yacht with Interior. 

The model comes in four large sheets measuring 44.5 by 35.6 centimeters each and depicts an elegant motor yacht with a cabin and interior details. 

The scale is approximately 1/20, and the finished yacht measures about 54 centimeters in length. 

It consists of around 50 parts, making it a medium-level project, ideal for builders with some experience in paper modeling. 

The set was originally published by the Julius Bagel publishing house in Mülheim an der Ruhr, possibly before the First World War, and the “JBM” logo printed on the sheets indicates this origin. 

The download includes the original high-resolution scans, as well as restored versions with color correction and cleaned backgrounds. The files are available in JPG and TIF formats, keeping their original printing size. 

Although no building instructions are included, the model is straightforward enough to assemble just by following the printed parts. 

Kartonmodellbau.org is a true encyclopedia of paper modeling, offering dozens of historical sheets, vintage catalogs, and detailed information about early publishers and designers. 

This motor yacht is a great example of the kind of paper model made in the early 20th century, combining simple engineering with elegance. 

With some patience and a coat of protective varnish, it is even said that it could really float.

O modelo vem em quatro folhas grandes, medindo 44,5 por 35,6 centímetros cada, e representa um elegante barco a motor, com cabine e detalhes internos. 

A escala é de aproximadamente 1/20, e o iate montado chega tem 54 centímetros de comprimento. São cerca de 50 peças no total, o que o torna um projeto de nível médio, ideal para quem já tem alguma experiência com modelos em papel.

Middle Eastern Architectural Papercrafts - Next Week At Papermau

These two Middle Eastern house models are currently in development and are part of a new series of buildings I’m preparing for the blog. 

Inspired by the region’s traditional architecture, with stone walls and weathered plaster, these papercrafts are perfect for historical dioramas, tabletop wargames, and even nativity scenes set. 

The buildings feature simple but realistic details, such as exterior staircases, arched doors, and small windows that add personality and authenticity to the models. 

Each one includes a textured base with grass and stone pavement, making assembly easier and allowing them to fit naturally into other layouts. 

I’m still fine-tuning the templates and testing proportions and textures to make sure they’re easy to build and look good once assembled. 

If all goes well, both models will be available for free download on the blog next week.

Esses dois modelos de casas do Oriente Médio estão em desenvolvimento e fazem parte de uma nova série de construções que estou preparando para o blog. 

Inspirados na arquitetura tradicional da região, com paredes de pedra e reboco envelhecido, esses papercrafts são ideais para compor dioramas históricos, mesas de wargames e também presépios. 

As construções apresentam detalhes simples e realistas, como escadas externas, portas em arco e pequenas janelas, que ajudam a dar personalidade e autenticidade às peças. 

Cada modelo vem acompanhado de uma base texturizada com gramado e calçamento de pedra, o que facilita a montagem e permite integrá-las facilmente a outros cenários. 

Ainda estou ajustando os templates e testando proporções e texturas para que o resultado final seja harmonioso e de fácil montagem.

Coral Explorer BR-EX Truck Paper Model - by Aliens Papercraft

On the Aliens Papercraft website, you can find the BR-EX Truck, a heavy-duty vehicle that looks like it came straight out of a sci-fi movie. 

It’s part of the Coral Explorer series, created by Czech designer Jan Rükr, and was designed as a companion to another model from the same line, the Harvester. 

In this small universe, the truck serves as the vehicle responsible for hauling the excavated materials, a nice touch of logic in Rükr’s imaginary industrial world. 

The model is spread over two ready-to-print PDF sheets in A4 format and includes several well-detailed parts that come together to form a solid and very characterful vehicle. 

The approximate scale is around 1/50, which fits perfectly with other models from the Coral Explorer collection and with medium-sized dioramas. The PDF doesn’t specify a scale, so builders can easily adjust it according to their needs. 

Printing on thicker paper or light cardstock helps the model keep its shape and ensures a clean, sturdy final look. 

Aliens Papercraft is one of the most creative sites dedicated to paper modeling, offering a great collection of free, original designs, many inspired by futuristic and industrial worlds.

Build Your Own RMS Titanic Papercraft In 1/120 Scale by Ralph Currell

On the Currell Graphics website you’ll find two beautiful paper models of the legendary RMS Titanic. 

One represents the real ship as it sailed in 1912, and the other is based on the version seen in the 1980 movie Raise the Titanic. Both are free to download and offer a great building experience for anyone who enjoys clean, well-designed miniatures. 

The main model is built at 1/1200 scale and measures about 23 centimeters long when completed. It’s a waterline style design, showing only the part of the ship above the water, which makes assembly easier and gives it a neat display look. The download includes six pages of illustrated instructions, two pages of parts, and an optional display base. 

The second version, inspired by Raise the Titanic, was created by Jerry Vondeling using the original Currell model as a base. It features a different color scheme and details to match the look of the movie ship, and it also comes with its own instruction and parts sheets.

Swing Boat Rheinauwelle Papercraft In 1/50 Scale - by Kallboys

The creative team from the German website Kallboys presents another charming paper model: the Schiffschaukel Rheinauwelle, a faithful recreation of one of the real attractions from the traditional Christmas Market of Mondorf, in Niederkassel, Germany. 

Every year, the small town of Mondorf turns into a festive scene on the banks of the Rhine River, filled with lights, music, traditional food, and dozens of decorated wooden stalls, forming the beautiful Mondorf Christmas Market. 

Among the most beloved attractions is the “Rheinauwelle,” a classic wooden swing boat that delights children and brings back the nostalgic spirit of old European fairs. 

Inspired by this real attraction, the Kallboys team created this detailed paper model as part of their virtual Christmas Market collection, a series celebrating the festive spirit and local cultural heritage of the Rhine region. 

The model consists of 256 parts and was designed in 1/50 scale. When assembled, it measures about 36.7 cm long, 17.2 cm wide, and 11.5 cm high. 

The design is based on historic drawings by Arthur Seifert of Leipzig from 1919 and includes images by Johan Ziegler, inspired by watercolors created by Laurenz Janscha in 1792. 

Once again, the Kallboys team combines history, tradition, and creativity in a paper model that serves both as a tribute to popular culture and as a beautiful display piece.
