I drew this boat in 2018, and lacking a better name, I decided to call it the Amazonian River Boat. I drew it and ended up forgetting the sketches in some folder on my computer.
While digging through my hard drive, I stumbled upon the Sketchup and Pepakura templates. So, I decided to finish it.
With a week and a half delay, here is the paper model of the Amazonian River Boat, ready for download.
The final template consists of 53 pieces divided into six sheets. I've labeled the pieces with letters, so assembly is straightforward: each piece fits with another piece named with the same letter.
To make assembly easier, I've created a sheet with illustrated instructions, so I believe anyone who is genuinely interested in assembling it won't encounter many difficulties.
As I mentioned in the previous post, I used 180g recycled paper that has a color resembling burnt cement, giving the model a nice appearance.
This weight of paper provides the boat with a strong structure, but I think 150g or even 120g should suffice.

Eu desenhei este barco em 2018 e que, na falta de um nome melhor, resolvi chamá-lo de barco do Rio Amazonas. Eu o desenhei e acabei esquecendo os rascunhos em alguma pasta aqui no meu computador.
Vasculhando o HD, acabei encontrando os templates em Sketchup e Pepakura. Resolvi então terminá-lo.
Com uma semana e meia de atraso eis aqui o modelo de papel do Amazonian River Boat, pronto para download.
O template final é composto de 53 peças divididas em seis folhas. Marquei as peças com letras, então a montagem é simples: cada peça se encaixa com outra peça nomeada com a mesma letra.
Para facilitar a montagem eu fiz uma folha com instruções ilustradas, então creio que quem realmente se interessar em montar, não encontrará muitas dificuldades.
Como eu havia dito na postagem anterior, eu usei papel reciclado de gramatura 180 que tem uma cor que se assemelha a cimento queimado e deu uma aparência bem legal ao modelo.
Essa gramatura faz com que o barco tenha uma estrutura bem forte, mas creio que 150 ou mesmo 120 gramas já sejam o bastante.
