Star Wars - AT-AT - All Terrain Armored Transport Custom Paper Model

Fred Smith is the President and Chief Editor of Sirius Replicas website since 2001 and he is the author of this cool custom papermodel version of an AT-AT, from Star Wars universe.
About this model, he said: - "This is a card-stock All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT). The original designs were downloaded from Sci-Fi Papercraft website.
The model shown was built with the original unweathered designes. I later converted the pdf files into jpg files and did some extensive weathering in Photoshop using the magic wand and airbrush tools.
There are five 8 X 11 part sheets, and it took about 30 - 45 minutes per sheet to get all the dirt and battle scarring done. Some of the small paper tubes were replaced with round toothpicks (much easier and a lot stronger).
One of the cool things about these models is the final finish is done when they come off the printer, and if you mess up a part, just print a new one- great for younger modelers."
Fred Smith é o presidente e editor-chefe do site Sirius Replicas desde 2001 e é o autor desta versão em papel personalizada bem legalde um AT-AT, do universo de Star Wars.
Sobre este modelo, ele disse: - "Este é um Transporte Blindado Todo Terreno (AT-AT) em papel cartão. Os desenhos originais foram baixados do site Sci-Fi Papercraft.
O modelo mostrado foi construído com os designs originais que não sofreram intempéries. Mais tarde, converti os arquivos pdf em arquivos jpg e fiz alguns ajustes extensos no Photoshop usando as ferramentas varinha mágica e aerógrafo.
Existem cinco folhas de 8 X 11 partes, e levou cerca de 30 a 45 minutos por folha para criar toda a sujeira e avarias de batalha. Alguns dos pequenos tubos de papel foram substituídos por palitos de dentes redondos (muito mais fáceis e muito mais fortes).
Uma das coisas legais sobre esses modelos é que o acabamento final é feito quando eles saem da impressora, e se você estragar uma peça, basta imprimir uma nova - ótimo para modelistas iniciantes."

Carburetor King - A Cardboard Garage In 1/64 Scale - by Papermau
As my printer is broken, I decided to create something that didn't need to print anything.
This garage was basically made with regular packaging cardboard, watercolor paints, white water-based glue and some dry tree twigs.
The signs I already had from some old papercraft projects The starting point, which I had as a base, was a cardboard square measuring 12 cms x 12 cms.
From then on, I cut the sides of the garage without worrying about exact measurements, my limit was just the base of 12x12.
In the photo below you can see the beginning of it all.
Today I leave here just a few photos. In the next few days I will post more photos detailing what and how I did to get the result of two of the photos in this post.

Esta garagem foi feita basicamente com papelão comum de embalagens, tintas aquarela, cola branca à base de água e alguns gravetos secos de árvores.
Os letreiros eu já tinha de alguns projetos de papercraft antigos O ponto de partida, o que eu tinha como base era um quadrado de papelão de 12 cms x 12 cms.
A partir daí fui coortando as laterias da garagem sem me importar com medidas exatas, meu limite era apenas a base de 12x12.
Na foto logo abaixo você vê o começo de tudo. Hoje eu deixo aqui apenas algumas fotos.
Nos próximos dias irei postar mais fotos detalhando o que e como eu fiz para chegar ao resultado de duas das fotos deste post.

I believe that WALL-E needs no introduction. Everyone knows the story of the lonely compactor robot that one day find love and hope of a new beginning for all mankind, in the 3D animation from Disney-Pixar.
This perfect paper model version of WALL-E was created by Indonesian designer Julius Perdana, from Paper Replika website and all the photos that ilustrate this post are by Mexican designer and modeler Rafael Saldaña, aka Ikarus Media.
Eu creio que WALL-E não precisa de apresentações. Todos conhecem a história do solitário robô-operário que um dia encontra o amor e a esperança de um novo começo para toda a humanidade, na animação em 3D da Disney-Pixar.
Esta perfeita versão em papel do WALL-E foi criada pelo designer indonésio Julius Perdana, do site Paper Replika e todas as fotos que ilustram este post são do designer e modelista mexicano Rafael Saldaña, aka Ikarus Media.

The Izumo-class helicopter destroyer, or 24DDH, is a type of new helicopter carrier class for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF).
The ships of this class are the largest surface combatants of the JMSDF, taking over the mantle currently held by the Hyūga-class helicopter destroyers.
