German Workshop Diorama Paper Model For 1/64 Scale Miniaturesby Stephan Schmatz

Here is a new paper model created by my friend, the Austrian designer and modeler Stephan Schmatz, from Scale Model website: a Workshop diorama. Stephan's models are specially made to be used as photo dioramas. Stephan says: - "Here's a new paper diorama in scale 1/64. It shows a German car workshop and has three sides: one with a small whitened brick wall and a plate that says "Used Cars", one with office doors and three workshop doors on a classic Northern German brick wall and one side with an aluminium coated hall and two big and two small doors."

Aqui está um novo modelo de papel criado por meu amigo, o designer e modelista austríaco Stephan Schmatz, do site Scale Model: um diorama de uma Oficina. Os modelos de Stephan são feitos especialmente para serem usados como dioramas para fotos. Stephan diz: "Aqui está um novo diorama de papel na escala 1/64. Ele mostra uma oficina de automóveis alemã e tem três lados: um com uma pequena parede de tijolos brancos e um placa que diz "Carros Usados", um com portas de escritórios e três Portas de oficina em uma parede de tijolos clássico do norte da Alemanha com portas de alumínio grandes e pequenas."

The Ephemeral Museum - Kiki's Delivery Service - Kiki Paper ToyAssembled by Maiú

My daughter Maiú is a great fan of Studio Ghibli and she decided to build this cute paper toy of Kiki, from Kiki's Delivery Service movie. The paper toy was created by my friend, the Philippine designer and modeler Paulo, from Paperized website. About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. Today I am opening a new session here on the blog, the Ephemeral Museum , which is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

Eu "estou no papelmodelismo" desde 2005, embora eu já tivesse contato com modelos de papel desde minha infância, nos anos 1970, via revistas que eram vendidas esporadicamente em bancas de jornal. Lembro que haviam revistas com casas para montar e dioramas/playsets de aeroportos, fortes-apache, presépios e coisas do tipo. Com o advento da internet o que houve foi simplesmente um renascimento do hobby do papelmodelismo para mim e muitas outras pessoas de minha geração. Hoje eu estou inaugurando uma nova sessão aqui no blog, o Ephemeral Museum, que é um lugar aonde irei mostrar alguns dos modelos que eu construí em todos estes anos. Também gostaria que esse fosse um espaço aonde todos os amigos modelistas pudessem mostrar seus trabalhos, sendo assim, se alguém quiser participar deste "museu", basta mandar fotos de seu trabalho e algumas palavras para o e-mail abaixo:

1903`s Wright Flyer Aircraft Paper Model - by M.Kajiwara

According to Wikipedia, the Wright Flyer (often retrospectively referred to as Flyer I or 1903 Flyer) was the first successful heavier-than-air powered aircraft. 

It was designed and built by the Wright brothers. They flew it four times on December 17, 1903, near Kill Devil Hills, about four miles south of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, US. Today, the airplane is exhibited in the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. 

The U.S. Smithsonian Institution describes the aircraft as "the first powered, heavier-than-air machine to achieve controlled, sustained flight with a pilot aboard".  The flight of Flyer I marks the beginning of the "pioneer era" of aviation. -

This paper model was created by Japanese designer M.Kajiwara, comissioned by Canon website.

De acordo com a Wikipedia, o Wright Flyer (também referenciado como Flyer I ou 1903 Flyer) foi a primeira aeronave construída pelos Irmãos Wright. 

Eles voaram com ele por quatro vezes em 17 de Dezembro de 1903, próximo à Kill Devil Hills, Carolina do Norte, cerca de 6,4 km ao Sul de Kitty Hawk, Estados Unidos. Hoje a aeronave está em exibição no Museu do Ar e Espaço em Washington, D.C. 

O Smithsonian Institution, descreve a aeronave como: "...a primeira máquina motorizada, mais pesada que o ar a conseguir um voo sustentado e controlado com um piloto a bordo." A Fédération Aéronautique Internationale descreveu o voo de 1903 durante o 100º aniversário em 2003 como "o primeiro voo motorizado, sustentado, controlado e motorizado de uma máquina mais pesada que o ar." 

Este modelo de papel foi criado pelo designer japonês M.Kajiwara. comissionado pelo site da Canon.
