Star Trek - Prometheus Class Starship Paper Model - by Ikenohata

The Prometheus-class was a revolutionary design that had the ability to confront the enemy from multiple, warp capable vectors for a formidable surprise attack. One innovation that was incorporated into the design was the installation of holoemitters that were outfitted throughout the ship. This allows the EMH Mark II doctor to project itself holographically across the ship allowing it to tend to the crew without it being restricted to sickbay. - read more at Memory.Beta.Prometheus - This great paper model was created by Japanese designer Ikenohata.

A Prometheus é uma nave experimental da Federação, com dois pares de nacelles de dobra, carregando várias tecnologias experimentais, que foram roubadas por agentes romulanos em 2374. Dentre as tecnologias que estavam sendo testadas, tinha a segunda versão do médico holográfico (EMH Mark 2) e um sistema de ataque conhecido como Modo de Assalto Multi-vetorial (Multi-Vector Assault Mode) que permitia separar a nave em três astronaves diferentes durante as operações de batalha. This very well done paper model of the Olympic-Class Starship, from Star Trek universe, was created by Japanese designer Ikenohata. - The Olympic-class was a type of Federation starship in service in the 24th century and the 25th century. They entered service in 2361 and arose out of a need for Starfleet to replace the fleet of aging hospital ships that were at their disposal. Unlike most other Federation starships, the Olympic-class does not possess a saucer section for its command hull, but a spheroid-shaped command hull akin to the design of the Daedalus-class starships that were in service in the late 22nd and early 23rd centuries. The added space granted by a spheroid command hull, allows most of the ship's laboratories and wards to be included. - read more at Star.Trek.Expanded.Universe


Este modelo de papel muito bem feito da Nave Espacial Olympic-Class, do universo de Star Trek, foi criado pelo designer japonês Ikenohata. - A Nave Espacial Olympic-Class é um tipo de nave estelar da Federação em serviço nos séculos 24 e século 25.
Elas entraram em serviço em 2361 e surgiram da necessidade da Federação em substituir a frota antigas de naves-hospitais.
Diferentemente da maioria das outras naves da Federação, a Olympic-class não possui o famoso centro de comando em formato de disco , e sim um em forma esferóide parecido com o desenho das naves da classe Daedalus que estavam em serviço no final do século 22 e início do 23 .
