Saint Jordi Medieval Castle Paper Model - by Eme Arq Studio

Created by Spanish designers Marta González y Míriam Bello, from Eme Arq Studio website, this beautiful Medieval Castle occupies six sheets of paper and is perfect for Dioramas, School Works, RPG and Wargames. 

They created this castle to celebrate Saint Jordi`s Day in Catalonia. I think the scale is something about HO (1/87 scale), but I am not shure. 

Saint Jordi Day, or Saint George's Day and also known as Catalan Valentine's Day, is a very special celebration in Catalonia that takes place every year on April 23rd. 

It's a day when the streets are filled with books and roses, and people celebrate love, culture, and Catalan identity. 

The story behind Saint George's Day dates back to a medieval legend that tells how the knight Saint George saved a princess from a fierce dragon. According to the legend, when Saint George killed the dragon, a red rose grew from its blood, which he gave to the princess as a symbol of love and devotion. 

Since then, Catalans celebrate Saint George's Day as a day of love and devotion, exchanging roses and books as symbolic gifts. Roses represent love and devotion, while books represent Catalan culture and identity. 

During Saint George's Day, the streets are filled with book and flower stalls, and people stroll through the streets, buying gifts for their loved ones. It's a day of celebration and festivity, where Catalan culture and tradition are at the center of attention. 

In summary, Saint George's Day is a very special day in Catalonia, where people celebrate love, culture, and Catalan identity through the exchange of roses and books. It's a celebration full of history and meaning, which enchants everyone who celebrates it.

Criado pelas designers espanholas Marta González y Míriam Bello, do site Eme Arq Studio, este belo Castelo Medieval ocupa seis folhas de papel e é perfeito para Dioramas, Trabalhos Escolares, RPG e Wargames. 

Elas criaram este castelo para celebrar o Dia de São Jordi, na Catalunha. Eu creio que a escala seja HO (escala 1/87), mas eu não tenho certeza. 

O Dia de São Jorge, ou São Jordi e também conhecido como Dia dos Namorados Catalão, é uma festa muito especial na Catalunha que acontece todos os anos em 23 de abril. 

É um dia em que as ruas se enchem de livros e rosas, e as pessoas celebram o amor, a cultura e a identidade catalã. 

A história por trás do Dia de São Jordi remonta a uma lenda medieval que conta como o cavaleiro São Jorge salvou uma princesa de um dragão feroz. Diz a lenda que quando São Jorge matou o dragão, do seu sangue nasceu uma rosa vermelha, que ele deu à princesa como símbolo de amor e devoção. 

Desde então, os catalães celebram o Dia de São Jordi como um dia de amor e devoção, trocando rosas e livros como presentes simbólicos. As rosas representam o amor e a devoção, enquanto os livros representam a cultura e a identidade catalã. 

Durante o Dia de São Jordi, as ruas se enchem de barracas de livros e de flores, e as pessoas passeiam pelas ruas, comprando presentes para seus entes queridos. É um dia de festa e de celebração, onde a cultura e a tradição catalãs estão no centro das atenções. 

Em resumo, o Dia de São Jordi é um dia muito especial na Catalunha, onde as pessoas celebram o amor, a cultura e a identidade catalã através da troca de rosas e livros. É uma festa cheia de história e significado, que encanta a todos que a celebram.
