Yesterday I posted here a vintage paper model, the Eastern Bohemian Fortress, offered by the ABC Magazine website and today I realized that it is part of a series. ABC will share a total of 15 vintage models available in a series called "Cut-Out Museum". In the presentation of this series it is said that "The free download of a cut-out is a reliable recipe to banish boredom".
This paper model of an Airport was originally published in the 1940s by publisher Petr Melichar, which probably operated in Prague in the 1940s and disappeared after 1948. The individual cut-out sheets were numbered and have a trademark in the form of a letter M with a crown. On the back of the original model is the name of editor Petr Melichar. This publisher was also known for its collection of children's books.
Ontém postei aqui no blog um modelo antigo, a Fortaleza da Boêmia Oriental, oferecido pelo site da ABC Magazine e hoje percebi que ele faz parte de uma série. A ABC irá disponibilizar um total 15 modelos antigos numa série que ela batizou como "Cut-Out Museum", ou "Museu dos Recortáveis". Na apresentação desta série é dito que "O download gratuíto de um recortável é uma receita imbatível para banir o tédio".
Este modelo de papel de um Aeroporto foi originalmente publicado na década de 1940 pela editora Petr Melichar, que provavelmente operou em Praga na década de 1940 e desapareceu após 1948. As folhas individuais tem as peças numeradas e uma marca registrada na forma de uma letra maiúscula M com uma coroa. No verso do modelo original há o nome do editor Petr Melichar. Essa editora também era conhecida por sua coleção de livros infantis.
