The Ephemeral Museum - Medium Tank T39 And Armored Car Bilbao
by Philippe R.

My French friend, Philippe R., currently living in Paraguay, built these two military vehicles and kindly sent me some photos of his nice work. He said: _ "These are models of the russian tank T39 (merely a prototype) and of the armored car "Bilbao" used during the Spanish Civil War. The russian tank is easy enough to make and very effective. The Bilbao was used as a model by Hergé in Tintin's Le Lotus Bleu adventure for the japanese armored car." - "Many thanks, Philippe, for give me the honor to present your work here on the blog! Greetings from Brazil to Paraguay!" - Mauther

- Mauther

About the Ephemeral Museum:

I "am in the paper modeling" since 2005, although I've had contact with paper models from my childhood in the 1970s, via magazines that were sold sporadically in newsagents. I remember magazines with houses to build and dioramas/playsets of airports, western forts, nativity scenes and the like. With the advent of the internet what happened was simply a revival of the papercraft hobby for me and many other people of my generation. The Ephemeral Museum is a place where I will show some of the models that I built all these years. I would also like this to be a space where all modelers friends could show their work, so if anyone wants to participate in this "museum", just send photos of your work and a few words, if you want, to the e-mail:

mautherous@gmail.com

All who submit their work will be published, without exceptions.

Hello, probably your friend did not specify that models have different scale - bilbao 1-35, T-39 1-50 because of what it seems that the tank small and gets under category the average tank that is not true, it is the heavy tank (which existed only on sketches, small wooden models were assembled)
