Easy-To-Build Police Station Paper Model For Kids - by Papermau Download Now!

As I said in the other post, my idea when creating this model was that it would be easy to assemble, suitable for children, but I believe that 1/64 scale people (Hot Wheels, Matchbox) will also like it. 

The entire model is made up of just three rectangular shapes aligned side by side plus a flat base. I managed to arrange all the pieces on five sheets, so the police station was a good size, neither too big nor too small and ideal for displaying Hot Wheels and Matchbox miniatures and also for children to play with. 

An idea for a more reinforced and more "playable" model for young children would be to print the sheets, cut out each side of each building and glue each part, including the base, onto cardboard from those boxes that we get for free in supermarkets. 

You can then join the parts together with transparent adhesive tape or hot glue. 

Another idea is to cut the garage doors so that children can play with their cars.

Como eu havia dito em outro post, minha idéia ao criar este modelo foi que ele fosse fácil de montar, próprio para crianças, mas creio que o pessoal da escala 1/64 (Hot Wheels, Matchbox) também irá gostar. 

O modelo todo é composto de apenas três formas retangulares alinhadas lado a lado e mais a base plana. 

Consegui arranjar todas as peças em cinco folhas, então a delegacia ficou com um bom tamanho, nem muito grande nem muito pequena e ideal para expor miniaturas Hot Wheels e Matchbox e também para as crianças brincarem. 

Uma idéia para um modelo mais reforçado e mais "brincável" para crianças pequenas, seria imprimir as folhas, recortar cada lado de cada prédio e e colar cada parte, incluindo a base, em papelão dessas caixas que pegamos de graça em supermercados.

Depois pode-se unir as partes com fita adesiva transparente ou cola quente. 

Outra idéia é cortar as portas da garagem para que as crianças possam brincar com seus carrinhos.

Doctor Who - Easy-To-Build TARDIS Paper Model - by Benny Thaibert

Danish designer and modeler Benny Thaibert, from Bitmedia website, created this paper model of the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), a time machine and spaceship shaped like a police box that appears in the cult British science fiction series Doctor Who. 

Regarding the creation of this model and the TARDIS, Mr. Thaibert said: - "I wanted to create an “easy to make” tardis box and minimize the use of glue and difficult cutouts with a craft knife. 

So, I did this: A foldable rectangular cube It took some trial and error and then it became reality. 

When something seems small on the outside, but is much bigger on the inside. The TARDIS originates from a police box. 

A telephone kiosk for use by members of the police or for the public to contact the police. 

The interior of the cabin was a miniature police station for police officers to read and fill out reports, take meal breaks and even temporarily hold prisoners until the police car arrived. 

But now it's better known as the time travel box!"

O designer e modelista dinamarquês Benny Thaibert, do site Bitmedia, criou este modelo de papel da TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space), uma máquina do tempo e nave espacial em forma de cabine policial que aparece no cultuado seriado britânico de ficção científica Doctor Who. 

A respeito da elaboração deste modelo e e sobre a TARDIS, o Sr. Thaibert disse: - "Eu queria criar uma caixa de tardis “fácil de fazer”. E minimizar o uso de cola e recortes difíceis com estilete. 

Então, fiz isto: Um cubo retangular dobrável. Foram necessárias algumas tentativas e erros e então se tornou realidade. 

Quando algo parece pequeno por fora, mas é muito maior por dentro. Tem origem em uma cabine policial. 

Um quiosque telefônico para uso de membros da polícia ou para o público entrar em contato com a polícia. 

O interior do camarote era uma delegacia em miniatura para uso dos policiais para ler e preencher relatórios, fazer intervalos para refeições e até mesmo reter presos temporariamente até a chegada do transporte. 

Mas agora mais conhecida como caixa de viagem no tempo!"

Male Hyena Miniature Paper Model - by Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart

Taking up two sheets of paper, this miniature Hiena was created by Japanese designer Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart, commissioned by Canon website. 

This paper model is part of the Real Animals Series and on the website it is said that it represents a male Hiena, implying that there will be a female version and perhaps a baby version in different poses, as has happened with other animals in this series.

If you are going to use this papercraft in a school project, here are some basic information and some interesting facts that may be useful to you: 

The hyena is a carnivorous mammal of the Hyaenidae family, primarily found in Africa and Asia. 

They have a distinctive appearance, with a robust body, shorter hind legs than front legs, and powerful jaws. 

Hyenas are known for their peculiar laughter, which can sound like an expression of excitement or a sign of aggression. They have a reputation for being voracious scavengers, but they also hunt live prey. 

Hyenas have a unique social structure, led by dominant females. The clan is headed by an alpha female, who is usually larger and more dominant than the males. 

This is unusual in the animal kingdom, where males typically hold dominant positions. 

They have unique anatomical structures, including a highly acidic digestive system, which allows them to digest bones and even horns. 

Additionally, their hind limbs are longer and stronger than the front ones, giving them a depressed appearance and a peculiar posture. 

Hyenas have a relatively long lifespan compared to other carnivores of similar size. 

In captivity, some hyenas can live up to 25 years, while in the wild, they usually live between 12 and 15 years. 

This is notable considering their reputation for engaging in aggressive and dangerous confrontations.

Ocupando duas folhas de papel, esta Hiena Macho em miniatura foi criado pelo designer japonês Katsuyuki Shiga Pinoart, comissionado pelo site da Canon. 

Este modelo de papel faz parte da Série Animais Reais e no site é dito que ele representa uma Hiena macho, dando a entender que virá uma versão fêmea e talvez uma versão filhote em diferentes poses, como já aconteceu com outros animais desta série.

Police Station Paper Model For Kids - This Week At Papermau!

Minha idéia ao criar este modelo foi que ele fosse fácil de montar, próprio para crianças, ma screio que o pessoal da escala 1/64 (Hot Wheels, Matchbox) também irá gostar. 

O modelo todo é composto de apenas três formas retangulares alinhadas lado a lado e mais a base plana. Hoje apenas algumas imagens.

Volkswagen Traveler Kombi - A 2011`s Original Paper Model Download Now!

This paper model whose templates I thought had been lost forever was published here on the blog on June 29, 2011, in the second week of the first month of the blog.

It was one of the first original papercrafts that I published here and it was all done in MsPaint. So I found both the templates and several photos in a folder on an old scratched CD. 

I remember that I was very happy to have made everything fit together perfectly, even though to do so I had to have designed, redesigned and printed several pieces many, many times. 

The tires in particular took a little more work. At the time I had a HP printer that consumed a lot of ink, so I only printed the basic lines in black and white, in super economical mode, and then I adjusted the dimensions of the pieces little by little. 

The textures were easier and I used real photos for this. Their application is very simple, directly in MsPaint, using the technique of unchecking the "draw opaque" option, which allows you to paste layers of drawings and textures, one on top of the other in a very simple way, as in more advanced graphics programs. (which I still haven't learned how to use). 

Well, today I just reviewed the templates and included part numbers that were not in the original templates, named some parts and provided some basic assembly explanations. 

I also added templates for those who want to place transparent plastic on the windows for a better finish and conservation of the model. 

Another thing I did was improve the images that were in low resolution, as they had been saved in the .JPG format which, to save space in HD (very important in 2011) ends up reducing the number of pixels in the images, causing an effect similar to dirt. , the famous low resolution.

Este modelo de papel cujos templates eu julgava perdidos para sempre foi publicado aqui no blog em 29 de junho de 2011, na segunda semana do primeiro mês do blog. 

Foi um dos primeiros papercrafts originais que eu publiquei aqui e foi todo feito no MsPaint. Por sorte eu encontrei tanto os templates como várias fotos em uma pasta em um velho CD arranhado. 

Eu me recordo que fiquei bem contente de ter feito tudo se encaixar perfeitamente, mesmo que para isso tenha que ter desenhado, redesenhado e impresso várias peças muitas e muitas vezes. 

Os pneus em especial deram um pouco mais de trabalho. Na época eu tinha uma impressora da HP que consumia muita tinta, então eu imprimia apenas as linhas básicas em preto e branco, no modo super econômico, e então ia acertando as dimensões das peças pouco a pouco. 

As texturas foram mais fáceis e eu usei fotos de reais para isso. A aplicção delas é bem simples, direto no MsPaint, usando a técnica de desmarcar a opção de "desenhar opaco", o que permite colar camadas de desenhos e texturas, umas sobre as outras de uma forma bem simples, como em programas gráficos mais avançados (que eu até hoje não aprendi a usar). 

Bem, hoje acabei de revisar os templates e incluí numerações nas peças que não tinham nos templates originais, nomeei algumas peças e coloquei algumas explicações básicas de montagem. Também adicionei templates para aqueles que quiserem colocar plástico transparente nas janelas para um melhor acabamento e conservação do modelo. 

Outra coisa que fiz foi melhorar as imagens que estavam em baixa resolução, pois haviam sido salvas no formato .JPG que, para economizar espaço no HD (muito importante em 2011) acaba reduzindo o número de pixels das imagens, causando um efeito parecido com sujeira, a famosa baixa resolução.
