2014`s Mazda #70 SpeedSource Lola B12/80 Paper Model - by Cutp

This perfect paper model version of the 2014 Mazda #70 SpeedSource Lola B12/80 was created by Japanese designer Cutp and was originally posted on the Pepakura Gallery community. 

After winning nine races in the final year of the Grand-Am Series, Mazda entered two cars (the #70 and the #7) in the inaugural P2 class of the Tudor United Sports Car Championship. 

Following the winning formula for endurance racing and the 24 Hours of Le Mans over the last 10 years, Mazda went with diesel power and a true production-based engine. 

That 450 hp diesel is set inside a Lola B12/80 chassis. All together, the #70 weighs less than a ton.

Depois de vencer nove corridas no último ano do Grand-Am Series, a Mazda inscreveu dois carros (o #70 e o #7) na classe inaugural P2 do Tudor United Sports Car Championship. 

Seguindo a fórmula vencedora das corridas de resistência e das 24 Horas de Le Mans nos últimos 10 anos, a Mazda optou pela potência diesel e um verdadeiro motor baseado na produção. 

Esse diesel de 450 cv é colocado dentro de um chassi Lola B12/80. Todos juntos, o #70 pesa menos de uma tonelada.

Bronze Age Roundhouse Miniature Paper Model - by English Heritage

Offered by the educational website English Heritage and spanning nine printed sheets, this is a paper miniature of a Bronze Age Roundhouse. 

People in the British Isles lived in roundhouses for more than 2,000 years. The first ones were built in the Bronze Age, which started around 2300BC. They were also lived in throughout the Iron Age, which began in around 800BC and lasted until the Romans invaded in AD43. Roundhouses were still used after the Romans arrived. 

Roundhouses were circular dwellings that had thatched roofs and walls made of wooden posts, which were filled in with wattle-and-daub (a combination of woven branches, earth and clay).  The posts were placed in holes dug into the ground. Some roundhouses in upland areas were built with stone walls. 

Roundhouses were often grouped into villages, such as Grimspound in Devon (which dates from the late Bronze Age), where there are the remains of 24 stone roundhouses. These were inside a huge boundary wall that was about 150 metres in diameter.

As pessoas nas Ilhas Britânicas viveram em casas redondas (Roundhouses) por mais de 2.000 anos. As primeiras foram construídos na Idade do Bronze, que começou por volta de 2300 aC. Também há evidências que eram usadas durante toda a Idade do Ferro, que começou por volta de 800 aC e durou até a invasão romana em 43 dC. Estas habitações redondas ainda foram usadas depois que os romanos chegaram. 

Casas Redondas (Roundhouses) eram habitações circulares que tinham telhados de palha e paredes feitas de troncos de madeira, que eram cobertas com pau a pique (uma combinação de galhos trançados, terra e barro). Os troncos eram fixados em buracos cavados no chão. Algumas casas redondas em áreas de planalto eram construídas com paredes de pedra. 

As Roundhouses eram frequentemente agrupadas em aldeias, como Grimspound em Devon (que data do final da Idade do Bronze), onde ainda existem os restos de 24 roundhouses de pedra. Estas estavam dentro de um enorme muro de fronteira com cerca de 150 metros de diâmetro.

Miniature Garden Diorama Collection - World Cityscape - Paris by Ishiyama Akiko & Chovon

This cute and easy-to-build playset / diorama of Paris with its most outstanding tourist attractions, is part of a papercraft series called "Miniature Garden Diorama", created by several designers exclusively for Canon website. 

Occupying five sheets of paper, this diorama in particular was created by Ishiyama Akiko and Chovon.

The Housesteads Roman Fort Paper Model - by English Heritage

Offered by the educational website English Heritage and spanning nine printed sheets, this is a paper miniature of the Roman Fort of Housesteads. 

Housesteads Roman Fort lies halfway along Hadrian’s Wall, built by Emperor Hadrian in the north of England as a defence against invasion from other armies or tribes. 

Hadrian’s Wall stretches from Wallsend on the River Tyne to Bowness-on-Solway, and is 80 Roman miles long (73 miles). 

15,000 men helped to build the wall, which was started in AD 122 and was mainly finished by AD 128. 

Housesteads was one of 15 forts along the length of the wall, which housed nearly 10,000 soldiers in total. Housesteads’ original Latin name was Vercovicium, meaning ‘the place of the effective fighters’. 

The fort included a barracks, hospital, granaries and communal toilets, all of which still exist today.
