Fingar - The Fish Monster Friend Paper Toy - by Fold Up Toys

This is Fingar, the Fish Monster Friend, a paper toy created by British designer and modeler Alex Gwynne, from Fold Up Toys website. Lurking just under the waters surface is a fish-man hybrid. This friendly finned fiend creeps up to unsuspecting swimmers and brushed its long tail against their feet and legs. The next time you feel something rub against your foot in the sea, feel free to tell yourself it’s just a piece of seaweed, but now you know the truth.

Este é Fingar, o Monstro Peixe Amigo, um paper toy criado pelo designer e modelista britânico Alex Gwynne, do site Fold Up Toys. À espreita, logo abaixo da superfície da água, vive um híbrido de peixe e homem. Este simpático demônio de nadadeiras se aproxima de nadadores desavisados e roça sua longa cauda contra seus pés e pernas. Da próxima vez que você estiver nadando na praia e sentir algo encostando no seu pé, pode até dizer pra si mesmo que é apenas um pedaço de alga, mas no fundo você sabe a verdade.

This architectural paper model, the Cafe Lenz, was created by my friend from Germany, the designer and engineer Boris Voigt, from Projekt Bastelbogen, educative website. 

You will find the model in three different scales: 1/72 (M scale), 1/87 (HO scale) and TT (1/120 scale). I think it will be useful for Train Sets, Dioramas, RPG and Wargames.

Este modelo de papel arquitetônico, o Café Lenz, foi criado por meu amigo da Alemanha, o designer e engenheiro Boris Voigt, do site educativo Projekt Bastelbogen. 

Você encontrará este modelo em três escalas diferentes: 1/72 (escala M), 1/87 (escala HO) e TT (escala 1/120). Eu creio que será um modelo útil para Maquetes Ferroviárias, Dioramas, RPG e Wargames.

Yamaha Papercraft Website Will Officially Close In September 2018

A sad news for all fans of the beautiful paper models of Yamaha Japanese website: it will close and the website will be off from September 30, 2018. I advise all modeling friends to make a visit to the site and download all models while they are still available. That's what I'll do little by little. The link to the site is just below, and who knows everyone writing messages there, they do not change their mind and leave at least the online site with the models available for download, as a kind of museum for future generations?

Uma triste notícia para todos os fãs dos belos modelos de papel do site japonês da Yamaha: ela irá encerrar sua atividades e o website ficará off a partir de 30 de setembro de 2018. Aconselho a todos os amigos modelistas que façam uma visita ao site e baixem todos os modelos enquanto ainda estão disponíveis. É o que eu farei aos poucos. O link para o site está logo abaixo e, quem sabe todo mundo escrevendo para lá, eles não mudem de idéia e deixem ao menos o site online com os modelos disponíveis para download, como uma espécie de museu para as futuras gerações?
