Quasi-Zenith Satellite "MICHIBIKI" Detailed Paper Model - by Jaxa

On September 11, 2010, the first Quasi-Zenith Satellite, MICHIBIKI was launched from the Tanegashima Space Center, in Japan, as the first stage of a Quasi-Zenith Satellite system. It has the aim of achieving a positioning service with higher accuracy than existing GPS satellites. Em 11 de setembro de 2010, o primeiro satélite Quasi-Zenith, MICHIBIKI foi lançado do Centro Espacial Tanegashima, no Japão, como a primeira etapa de um sistema de satélites Zenith Quasi. Seu objectivo é alcançar um serviço de posicionamento de maior precisão do que os satélites GPS existentes atualmente.
