Citroen DS - French Paper Car - by Takumi - Carro Francês

The Citroën DS was an executive car produced by the French manufacturer Citroën between 1955 and 1975. Styled by Italian sculptor and industrial designer Flaminio Bertoni and the French aeronautical engineer André Lefèbvre, the DS was known for its aerodynamic futuristic body design and innovative technology, including a hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension.
The DS advanced achievable standards in automobile ride quality, handling, and braking. Citroën sold nearly 1.5 million D-series during the model's 20-year production run. The DS came in third in the 1999 Car of the Century competition, recognizing the world's most influential auto designs, and was named the most beautiful car of all time by Classic & Sports Car Magazine. - Wikipedia

RWD-25 Poland Aircraft - by Modele Kartonowe - Avião Polonês WW2

RWD was a Polish aircraft construction bureau active between 1928 and 1939. It started as a team of three young designers, Stanisław Rogalski, Stanisław Wigura and Jerzy Drzewiecki, whose names formed the RWD acronym. - Wikipedia

Designed In Poland in 1939 by Jerzy Drzewiecki, Henryk Milicer, Jan Idzikowski and Tadeusz Chyliński. Errand for project got DWL (Doswiadczalne Warsztaty Lotnicze / Experimental Aerial Workshops). Simple and economic pursuit plane. Principal aim of this plane was to intercept hostile bombers and defend of ground objects. RWD 25 was characterize of high rate of climb and good agility. Project has never finished before WW2 and never revived afterward. - secondlife.com

Paper Model History - A Really Very Old Paper Model

The oldest paper model  I so far know in Sweden is a model of the 70 canon ship "Nordstjernan" wich was launched at Karlskrona in 1703. The ship was constructed by Charles Sheldon and the model was built by the constructor himself or by someone else at at the shipyard, eventually to show the form of the hull before the approval. The model is built to scale 1:60. It is now in the Maritime museum (Sjöhistoriska museet) in Stockholm. - Gunnar Sillén, by Bildrums Klippark

O modelo de papel mais antigo que tenho conhecimento vem da Suécia e é de um navio de guerra de 70 canhões chamado "Nordstjernan". Ele foi desenhado em 1703 por Charles Sheldon e foi montado por ele mesmo ou por alguém ligado à contrução do navio real, para mostrar as formas do casco antes da aprovação para sua construção.
