I have already created a few papercraft castles over the years, and they are scattered throughout different posts here on the blog. To find them, simply browse the Medieval, Castle and Exclusive tags.
You will also find another castle that I started developing almost ten years ago but never managed to finish. As far as I can remember, I only published its main front section and a separate crenellated wall. The project was eventually left aside, as sometimes happens when one idea gives way to several others.
The images above and below show the new castle I am currently working on. This time, the project is much further along and is practically complete, at least as far as the creation of its individual parts is concerned. All the main components have already been designed, including the walls, towers, gates, internal buildings, roofs and a complete display base with stone paths and vegetation.
The template is still in a preliminary state. I now need to add the glue tabs, make a few adjustments and include some additional elements related to the textures and final appearance of the model. After that, all the parts will have to be properly arranged on the printable sheets, and I will need to check whether the assembly process is clear and functional.
As soon as the project is minimally resolved and ready to be assembled, it will be published here at Papermau. There are still a few time-consuming details ahead, but this time the castle is genuinely close to completion.

Vocês também encontrarão outro castelo que comecei a desenvolver há quase dez anos, mas que nunca cheguei a concluir. Pelo que me lembro, publiquei apenas a fachada principal e uma seção separada de muralha com ameias. O projeto acabou ficando de lado, como algumas vezes acontece quando uma ideia dá lugar a várias outras.
As duas imagens acima mostram o novo castelo em que estou trabalhando. Desta vez, o projeto está bem mais adiantado e praticamente pronto, pelo menos no que diz respeito à criação de suas peças. Todas as partes principais já foram desenhadas, incluindo as muralhas, torres, portões, construções internas, telhados e uma base completa com caminhos de pedra e vegetação.
A imagem abaixo mostra o template em seu estado atual, ainda com todas as peças espalhadas e desorganizadas. Agora falta acrescentar as abas de colagem, fazer alguns ajustes e incluir outros elementos relacionados às texturas e ao acabamento do modelo. Depois disso, ainda será necessário distribuir corretamente todas as peças nas folhas para impressão e verificar se a montagem pode ser feita de maneira clara e funcional.
Assim que o projeto estiver minimamente resolvido e em condições de ser montado, ele será publicado aqui no Papermau. Ainda existem alguns detalhes trabalhosos pela frente, mas desta vez o castelo está realmente muito próximo de ser concluído.
