The Japanese Canon Creative Park website recently released a movable paper toy in the form of a winged dragon, available in five different colors: blue, gray, black, brown, and green.
These models are interactive and work in a surprising way: by pressing the dragon's tail, it extends its neck forward and opens its mouth, simulating the act of breathing fire.
This is all made possible through an ingenious papercraft design, where the dragon's components are connected by common office rubber bands, allowing movements that create the illusion of a fire-breathing dragon.
Unlike what typically happens with papercrafts, the creator of this toy is not mentioned on the site, with credits attributed directly to Canon Inc.
The complete paper toy requires three printed sheets for the parts, while the instructions, which are detailed and well-illustrated, are spread across two additional sheets.

O site japonês da Canon Creative Park lançou recentemente um paper toy móvel na forma de um dragão alado, disponível em cinco cores diferentes: azul, cinza, preto, marrom e verde.
Esses modelos são interativos e funcionam de maneira surpreendente: ao pressionar a cauda do dragão, ele projeta o pescoço para a frente e abre a boca, simulando o lançamento de chamas.
Tudo isso é possível graças a uma criação engenhosa em papercraft, onde as peças que compõem o dragão são unidas por elásticos comuns de escritório, permitindo movimentos que dão a ilusão de um dragão cuspidor de fogo.
Diferente do que geralmente ocorre com papercrafts, o autor deste brinquedo não é mencionado no site, com os créditos indo diretamente para a Canon Inc.
O paper toy completo ocupa três folhas impressas para as peças, enquanto as instruções, que são detalhadas e muito bem ilustradas, estão distribuídas em duas folhas adicionais.
