Created by Czech designer and modeler Tomáš Hrebík and offered by ABC Magazine, a Czech publisher, this is the paper model version in 1/250 scale of the Kopu Lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses in the world.
Built in 1531, it is located on the coast of the island of Hiiumaa, in Estonia. Its 36 meter tower is supported by massive pillars oriented according to the four cardinal points.
All built with limestone, the access to the top was originally made by external wooden stairs.
In 1997, the lighthouse lost its main function of guiding navigation, when it was replaced by radar equipment.

Construído em 1531, está localizado na costa da ilha de Hiiaaa, na Estônia. Sua torre de 36 metros é apoiada por pilares massivos orientados de acordo com os quatro pontos cardeais.
Todos construído com calcário, o acesso ao topo era feito originalmente por escadas de madeira externas.
Em 1997, o farol perdeu sua função principal de orientar a navegação, quando foi substituído por equipamentos de radar.
