This is the Skelton's Service Station, more one custom and exclusive paper model and my way to say thanks to Mr. Gary Skelton, from Texas, USA, for his support to the blog. I asked Gary to write a few words for this post and below you can read them.
"I live in the USA, in a tiny town in Texas. I've been doing paper models for around 20 years off and on. I started doing them because I was looking for an inexpensive hobby. I even got one of my kids to build a few. Now I'm retired and hope to do more, but I'm even busier now than I was when working! The textures on the garage models are great! To this model I added a billboard with several old signs on the same scale as the service station. All friends who supported the blog and have already received their garages, will also receive this model via email, at no additional cost.
Every friend who supports the blog will receive a custom and exclusive paper model with the name or sayings they want. Supporters can choose which template will be personalized and what will be written. The photos or 3D sketches of the custom models will be posted here on the blog with a special thanks for each one (unless the supporter does not want his name to be disclosed).
