Giuseppe Civitarese, the brilliant Italian designer of this model says: - "From the magnificent tables in the 1693 colored edition, after a series of digital processes by David Rumsey cartographic laboratory, I designed the gores for this celestial globe. David Rumsey put on line the hi-res tables and “played” with them, giving us a complete joined virtual view of Pardies map of the Heavens. The aim of my project is to realize a physical model everyonecan builtand admire."

Giuseppe Civitarese, o brilhante designer italiano deste modelo, diz: - "Diretamente da magnífica edição original colorida de 1693 de Ignace-Gaston Pardies e depois de uma série de processos de restauração digitais feitos pelo laboratório cartográfico de David Rumsey , eu projetei os gomos para este Globo Celestial. David Rumsey alinhou os quadros de alta resolução e os armou, dando-nos uma visão em 3D completa do Mapa Estelar de Pardies . O objetivo do meu projeto era realizar um modelo físico que qualquer um possa montar e admirar."
