Easy-To-Build Subaru WRX STI NBR Challenge 2016 Papercraft by Subaru Japan

Straight from the official Subaru Japan website, here is a super easy-to-build papercraft, perfect for kids (and adults too) of the Subaru WRX STI NBR Challenge 2016. 

This race car was created by Subaru Tecnica International (STI) specifically to take on the tough challenge of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in Germany, one of the most difficult and prestigious races in the world.

Based on the 2014 street version of the WRX STI, the car was heavily modified to withstand the harsh conditions of the German track, with upgrades to the engine, suspension, aerodynamics, and more. 

In May 2016, this speedster won the SP3T class (turbocharged cars up to 2.0 liters) for the second year in a row, completing 121 laps, over 3,000 km, in just 24 hours. 

The driver team, made up of Carlo van Dam (Netherlands), Hideki Yamauchi (Japan), Tim Schrick and Marcel Lasée (both from Germany), showed great skill and determination, even facing heavy rain and hail during the race. 

A fun model, full of history, and a great way to introduce the little ones to the world of papercraft and racing cars.

Esse carro de corrida foi criado pela Subaru Tecnica International (STI) especialmente para encarar a dura prova das 24 Horas de Nürburgring, na Alemanha, uma das corridas mais difíceis e prestigiadas do mundo. 

Baseado no modelo de rua WRX STI 2014, o carro foi todo preparado para aguentar o tranco do circuito alemão, com modificações no motor, suspensão, aerodinâmica e muito mais. 

Em maio de 2016, esse bólido venceu pela segunda vez seguida a categoria SP3T (carros turbo até 2.0 litros), completando 121 voltas, mais de 3.000 kms, em 24 horas. 

A equipe de pilotos, formada por Carlo van Dam (Holanda), Hideki Yamauchi (Japão), Tim Schrick e Marcel Lasée (ambos da Alemanha), mostrou muita garra, mesmo enfrentando chuva pesada e até granizo. 

Um modelo divertido, cheio de história e ótimo para introduzir os pequenos no mundo do papercraft e dos carros de corrida.

Four Cute Papercraft Rabbits in Distinct Coats – By Katsuyuki Shiga

Here are four beautiful rabbits, each with a distinct coat, all created by the talented Japanese designer Katsuyuki Shiga from the Pino Art website. 

Mr. Shiga designed them in 2023 to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, according to the Chinese calendar. But with Easter just around the corner, they couldn’t be more timely, right? 

There’s a white rabbit, a gray one, a light brown (almost orange) one, and a spotted one. Each model fits on just two printed sheets, so you can imagine they’re not very large. 

On the download page, there’s a detailed photo guide showing the step-by-step assembly of the white rabbit. 

Since all four models share the same structure and differ only in color, the guide works perfectly for all of them.

Aqui estão quatro belos coelhos, cada um com uma pelagem distinta, todos criados pelo talentoso designer japonês Katsuyuki Shiga, do site Pino Art. 

O Sr. Shiga os desenvolveu em 2023 para celebrar o Ano do Coelho, segundo o calendário chinês. Mas, como estamos nos aproximando da Páscoa, eles caem muito bem, não é mesmo? 

Temos um coelho branco, um cinza, um marrom claro (quase alaranjado) e um malhado. Cada um ocupa apenas duas folhas impressas, então dá para imaginar que o tamanho final não é muito grande. 

Na própria página de download, há uma série de fotos detalhadas mostrando o passo a passo da montagem do coelho branco. 

Como os quatro modelos têm a mesma estrutura, variando apenas nas cores da pelagem, esse guia serve perfeitamente para todos eles.

Mooneyes & Speed Rascal Slingshot Dragster Paper Toys In SD Style by Papermau - Download Now!

These paper toys of two SD-style (super deformed) slingshot dragsters each fit on a single printed sheet and are very easy to assemble. 

One of them is the Mooneyes, inspired by the famous dragster of the same name, the kind that even people who know nothing about drag racing have probably seen somewhere. The other is the Speed Rascal, an original creation of mine. 

If you place a coin inside the rear section (as shown in the sixth photo), the little car will tilt upward, as if launching in a wheelie toward the finish line. 

The Mooneyes Dragster, created by Dean Moon in the late 1950s, is one of the most iconic slingshot dragsters of the golden age of drag racing. 

With the engine up front and the driver seated behind the rear axle, this style of car made its mark on American tracks, especially in the Top Gas category, which used gasoline as fuel. 

More than just speed, the Mooneyes stood out for its bold design and the unmistakable yellow "eyes", the symbol of the Mooneyes brand, which became a global icon in the custom and hot rod culture. 

In 1963, the Mooneyes made history as the first American dragster to compete in Japan, during a demonstration event that helped popularize American motorsports in the country and laid the foundation for the Japanese custom scene. 

Today, the Mooneyes Dragster is more than just a racing machine, it's an automotive culture icon, a symbol of an era when creativity and speed went hand in hand.

Estes paper toys de dois slingshot dragsters em estilo SD (super deformado) ocupam apenas uma folha impressa cada um e são bem fáceis de montar. 

O Mooneyes foi inspirado no famoso dragster homônimo que até quem não sabe nada de corridas de dragsters já deve ter visto em algum lugar, e o outro é o Speed Rascal, uma invenção minha. 

Se você colocar uma moeda na parte traseira, por dentro (sexta foto), o carrinho ficará empinado, em uma arrancada rumo a linha de chegada. 

O Mooneyes Dragster, criado por Dean Moon no final dos anos 1950, é um dos mais emblemáticos slingshot dragsters da era dourada do drag racing. 

Equipado com motor dianteiro e piloto posicionado atrás do eixo traseiro, esse estilo de carro marcou época nas pistas americanas, especialmente na categoria Top Gas, que utilizava gasolina como combustível. 

Mais do que velocidade, o Mooneyes se destacou pelo visual arrojado e pelos inconfundíveis "olhinhos" amarelas, símbolo da marca Mooneyes, que virou referência na cultura custom e hot rod mundial. 

Em 1963, o Mooneyes fez história ao ser o primeiro dragster americano a competir no Japão, durante uma exibição que ajudou a popularizar o automobilismo americano no país e lançou as bases para a cena custom japonesa. 

Hoje, o Mooneyes Dragster é mais do que uma máquina de corrida: é um ícone da cultura automotiva, símbolo de uma era onde criatividade e velocidade andavam lado a lado.

Garages And Civil Buildings Papercrafts In 1/32 Scale For Slotcars, Dioramas And Wargames - by Slot-Hobby

All of these papercrafts in 1/32 scale of garages and civilian buildings were created by German designer and model maker Klaus-Peter Stecher, also known as Slot-Hobby. 

They are available for download on the Slotcar-Union community website, a space created by fans of slot car racing. 

In addition to developing these papercraft models, Mr. Stecher specializes in slot car modeling. 

He is widely recognized for his handcrafted, high-quality models, typically produced in limited runs of just 75 units, all in 1/32 scale. 

The models featured in this post were originally designed as scenery for slot car tracks, but there's nothing stopping you from using them in dioramas or wargames as well. 

In fact, the scale can be easily adjusted by changing your printer settings as needed.

Todos estes papercrafts de garagens e prédios civis na escala 1/32 foram criados pelo designer e modelista alemão Klaus-Peter Stecher, também conhecido como Slot-Hobby.
