Shimorun - The Whale Fairy Mascot Paper Toy - by Hiroaki Kawamura

This is the paper toy of Shimorun, the whale fairy who is the mascot of the "Sea Mall" shopping mall in Japan. 

It was created by Japanese designer Hiroaki "Haruto" Kawamura and can be downloaded for free from the official Sea Mall website. 

The Shimorun whale paper toy takes up just one printed sheet and is very easy to assemble.

The designer, Mr. Hiroaki "Haruto" Kawamura says in his public profile that he was born in 1968 and has been working with paper crafts since 2006. 

He says that fortunately, or unfortunately, there was a period in which, as he had little time to work, he concentrated in designing papercrafts in the most efficient way possible and with an emphasis on ease of assembly. 

He also says that at first, he created papercrafts as a hobby while maintaining his regular job, but now, due to various connections, he has become a professional artist and designs paper crafts for commercial use.

I want to give credit and thanks to my friend John Wagenseil, from the Paper Modelers forum, as it was thanks to his thread "Web Page with Collection of Paper Model Sites" that I came up with this papercraft.

Este é o paper toy da Shimorun, a fada baleia que é a mascote do shopping japonês "Sea Mall". Ele foi criado pelo designer japonês Hiroaki "Haruto" Kawamura e pode ser baixado gratuitamente na site oficial do Sea Mall. 

O paper toy da baleia Shimorun ocupa apenas uma folha impressa e é bem fácil de montar. 

O designer, Sr. Hiroaki "Haruto" Kawamura diz em seu perfil público que nasceu em 1968 e trabalha com artesanato em papel desde 2006. 

Ele diz que felizmente, ou infelizmente, houve um período em que por dispor de pouco tempo para trabalhar, concentrou-se em projetar papercrafts da forma mais eficiente possível e com ênfase na facilidade de montagem. 

Ele também diz que no início, criava papercrafts como um hobby enquanto mantinha seu trabalho regular, mas agora, devido a várias conexões, tornou-se um artista profissional e projeta artesanatos em papel para uso comercial.

MTV (Music Television) was launched on August 1, 1981 in the United States (it only arrived in Brazil in October 1990). 

Originally, the channel was dedicated exclusively to music videos, presented by "video jockeys" (VJs). 

The first song to be broadcast was "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the band The Buggles. MTV quickly became a significant cultural force, influencing the music, fashion and behavior of young people around the world. 

The famous MTV logo, designed by Manhattan Design (Pat Gorman and Frank Olinsky), is known for its bold and changeable design. 

The original logo featured the letter "M" in a large, three-dimensional style and the letter "TV" written over it in graffiti. 

This design has allowed for countless variations and customizations over the years, reflecting the dynamic and innovative nature of MTV. 

The MTV logo, created by advertising agency Manhattan Design, debuted alongside the channel on August 1, 1981. 

This distinctive and adaptable logo featured the letter "M" in a large, three-dimensional style, with the letter "TV" written over it in a graffiti style. 

The original design was meant to be flexible and changeable, allowing for frequent variation and customization, which has helped MTV maintain a dynamic, contemporary look over the years. 

In 2009, MTV updated its logo to a more simplified version, removing the three-dimensional details and adjusting the style to reflect the brand's evolution and its focus on a wider range of content beyond music videos.

In 2000, small modifications and variations were made to the logo, maintaining the essence of the original design, but in 2009 a more significant update was made, simplifying the design and adapting it for the digital and high-definition world. 

I created this papercraft using the 1981 version as a base. The entire model takes up just one printed sheet and is not difficult to assemble.

2010`s Fiat Doblo Paper Model - by Papermau - Download Tomorrow!

I created this Fiat Doblo 2010 papercraft using a blueprint and drawing over that blueprint directly in Sketchup. 

Then I saved this sketch in .SKP format and opened it in Pepakura to unfold the pieces. The result of this was a .BMP file that I am currently working on. 

As you can, it is not necessary to draw the entire model, just one half is enough. Then this half is duplicated, inverted and "glued" to the other half. 

The first photo in this post is the Doblo beta assembly and there are a few things that didn't fit well in this assembly. 

I'll try to resolve this and post the template for download tomorrow.

Eu criei este papercraft do Fiat Doblo 2010 usando uma blueprint e desenhando sobre essa blueprint direto no Sketchup. 

Depois salvei este esboço no formato .SKP e abri no Pepakura para desdobrar as peças. O resultado disso foi um arquivo .BMP em que estou trabalhando no momento. 

Como vocês podem, não é preciso desenhar o modelo todo, somente uma das metades já é o bastante. 

Depois essa metade é duplicada, invertida e "colada" a outra metade. A primeira foto deste post é a montagem beta do Doblo e há algumas coisas que não se encaixaram bem nessa montagem.

Vou tentar resolver isso e postar o template para download amanhã.

Command & Conquer Deep Impact - WEA Hyperion Spaceship Papercraft - by Enlima29

Enlima29 is a freelance artist from Jakarta, Indonesia, who creates low-poly 3D models, papercrafts and various digital arts and author of this incredible papercraft of the WEA Hyperion ship from Commnad and Conquer Deep Impact.

Regarding this model, Enlima29 said: - "Papercraft version of WEA Hyperion from C&C Deep Impact mod, complete with rotors that can be rotated. 

This papercraft was created in order to promote the mod in ModDB Mod of The Year 2018 Awards. 

Papercraft model was printed in A4 drawing papers (210 grams). Built within 3 weeks from the unfolding process, printing, and full assembly. 

The assembled model is also quite big as it is one of my earliest papercraft build from scratch, as you can see at the Pepakura screenshot image there, and comparison with the glue tubes being used as the holders. 

The papercraft in the photos also omitted the underside railgun for easy photo shooting session, but it is included in the papercraft template. 

WEA Hyperion original model was made by ZekeDlyoung, concept by AnubisTheDark."

A Candy Shop And A Restaurant Papercraft Playsets - by Bandai

Offered by Bandai Japan's official website, here are two playsets, or dioramas, originally designed for use with Purikyu dolls but also suitable for other types of figures. 

You will find a restaurant diorama and a candy store diorama, both featuring the cute style characteristic of the Purikyu doll franchise. 

Each diorama/playset takes up four printed sheets, and the assembly is quite simple. 

The Purikyu doll line, manufactured since 1993 by the Japanese toy company Bandai, is known for its detailed and collectible figures. 

These dolls are typically inspired by characters from popular anime, manga, and games, offering a faithful and stylized representation of the characters. 

The dolls are appreciated by both children and collectors for their quality and attractive design. 

Purikyu dolls are small, with a maximum height of 7 cm, created in a style known in Japan as "Chibi," a word that means "small" or "short."
