The rules are simple: build a car for less than $2,000, register your creation whether above budget or not - all of them will compete against each other at the Gainesville Raceway to see if money really equals speed.
Nocones indeed built this car, which is a blend of a 1960 Subaru, homemade aerodynamics, a homemade tubular chassis, and a lot of creativity. The name of this beast? Subaru LMP360!
And believe it or not, while he was building the actual car, he even found time to create a papercraft of his exclusive Subaru LMP360.
Not enough? Well, he ended up taking first place in the competition.
