The Ephemeral Museum - Brazilian Barbecue Diorama Paper Modelby Nigrafox Papermodels

In Brazil it is natural for families to get together on weekends to savor a good barbecue. 

Many homes have their own specific BBQ area and this paper model created by Brazilian designer and modeler Nigrafox, from Nigrafox Papermodels website, portrays to perfection of these constructions. 

All the details of a good barbecue area were replicated on paper. Nigrafox gave me the honor of posting this model here on the blog and I am very grateful for this. 

It's always a pleasure to show the work of friend modelers here from Brazil.

No Brasil é natural que as famílias se reúnam nos finais de semana para saborearem um bom churrasco. 

Muitas casas têm sua área específica para churrascos e este modelo de papel criado pelo designer e modelista brasileiro Nigrafox, do site Nigrafox Papermodels, retrata com perfeição uma destas construções. 

Todos os detalhes de uma boa área de churrasco foram replicados em papel. Nigrafox deu-me a honra de postar este modelo aqui no blog e eu agradeço muito por isto.

The Ruins - A Simple Stand Papercraft For Mini Figures - by Papermau Download Now!

As I said yesterday, here is the papercraft of the Stand for Mini Figures, which for lack of a better name, I decided to call "The Ruins". 

This model was made and published here in 2013, but with the virus attacks that affected the blog between 2018 and 2019, I thought I lost the original files forever. 

Luckily, yesterday I found the templates for this diorama (and a few other older models) on some old rewritable CDs. 

So I leave you with the model to download. It's not a big deal and really I don't think anyone will ever build it, but by republishing it I preserve it for posterity. 

You will notice that the photos are a little bad, but they are originals from 2013, taken with a very old digital camera, a Samsung I think, and the resolution is low.

Como eu havia dito ontém, eis aqui o papercraft do Stand para Mini Figuras, que na falta de um nome melhor, resolvi batizar de "As Ruínas". 

Este modelo foi feito e publicado aqui em 2013, mas com os ataques de vírus que afetaram o blog entre 2018 e 2019, eu julguei ter perdido os arquivos originais para sempre. 

Por sorte, ontém achei os templates deste diorama (e mais alguns outros modelos antigos) em alguns velhos CDs regraváveis. 

Deixo então com vocês o modelo para download. Não é grande coisa e realmente eu creio que ninguém vá construí-lo, mas o publicando novamente eu o preservo para a posteridade. 

Vocês perceberão que as fotos estão um pouco ruins, mas é que eles são roiginais de 2013, tiradas com uma máquina digital bem antiga, uma Samsung, eu acho, e a resolução é baixa.

Vancouver`s Chinese Rookery Paper Model Diorama - by Nathan Lee

During Nathan Lee’s Artist in Residency with North Vancouver Recreation and Culture, he created a model of The Rookery, along with a step-by-step education guide for the community. 

Moodyville Sawmill opened in 1863. The community of Moodyville was an early mill town and one of the first permanent European settlements in North Vancouver. 

While the population was multicultural, it was far from equal. By 1889 there were 160 men employed at the mill, 36 of whom were of Chinese descent. 

Produced as part of the Artist in Residency program at North Vancouver Recreation and Culture, this project explores the “Chinese Rookery,” an ethnic enclave on the lowlands of the site.

Little is known about the lives and working conditions of the people that lived here. This model is an interpretation of the site conditions based on the available archival information.

Durante a residência artística de Nathan Lee na North Vancouver Recreation and Culture, ele criou um modelo de The Rookery (Comunidade), juntamente com um guia educacional passo a passo para a comunidade. 

A Serraria de Moodyville foi inaugurada em 1863. A comunidade de Moodyville foi uma das primeiras cidades industriais e um dos primeiros assentamentos europeus permanentes no norte de Vancouver. 

Embora a população fosse multicultural, estava longe de ser igual. Em 1889, havia 160 homens empregados na fábrica, 36 dos quais eram descendentes de chineses. 

Produzido como parte do programa Artist in Residency no North Vancouver Recreation and Culture, este projeto explora a “Comunidade Chinesa”, um enclave étnico nas terras baixas do local. 

Pouco se sabe sobre a vida e as condições de trabalho das pessoas que aqui viveram. Este modelo é uma interpretação das condições do local com base nas informações de arquivo disponíveis.

The Ruins - A Simple Stand Papercraft For Mini Figures - by PapermauDownload Tomorrow!

I published this small stand for minifigures here on the blog in 2013 and after several computer changes, I thought I had lost the templates in an old burnt Hard Drive. 

Today, to my surprise, looking for old documents on old CDs, I came across templates saved in .bmp format. 

I will organize the pieces and transfer everything to a single document in PDF format and tomorrow I will publish it again here on the blog. See you tomorrow!

Eu publiquei aqui no blog este pequeno stand para mini figures em 2013 e depois de várias trocas de computador, pensei que havia perdido os templates em algum Hard Drive antigo queimado. 

Hoje, para minha surpresa, procurando por antigos documentos em velhos CDs, me deparei com os templates salvos no formato .bmp. 

Vou organizar as peças e passar tudo para um único documento em formato PDF e amanhã publico novamente aqui no blog. Até amanhã!

Deutz Tractor D 6806 Paper Model In 1/25 Scale - by Kallboys

Our German friends from Kallboys website kindly offer a new paper model, the Deutz Tractor D 6806. 

"Trucks and tractors are part of the street scene in Mondorf. In the past, they used to be seen only as farm animals, but today they are also increasingly seen on the streets as vintage cars. 

They work in the fields, bring home the harvest, pull floats at festivities, and even at Christmas they have parades with colored lights. 

To all these multitalents we dedicate this papercraft that represents a Deutz Tractor D 6806. The model is made up of 414 parts and is in 1/25 scale. 

The model can be built in two variants. In the first variant, it represents the standard condition with a standard exhaust but no cab. 

The second variant represents the tractor with a modified upward exhaust gas routing and an adapted cab of unknown origin." - Kallboys

Nossos amigos alemães do site Kallboys gentilmente oferecem um novo modelo de papel, o Trator Deutz D 6806. 

"Caminhões e tratores fazem parte da cena de rua em Mondorf. No passado, eles costumavam ser vistos apenas como animais de fazenda, mas hoje também são cada vez mais vistos nas ruas como carros antigos. 

Eles trabalham nos campos, trazem a colheita para casa, puxam carros alegóricos em festividades e até no Natal fazem desfiles com luzes coloridas. 

A todos estes multitalentos dedicamos este papercraft que representa um Trator Deutz D 6806. O modelo é composto de 414 peças e está na escala 1/25. O modelo pode ser construído em duas variantes. 

Na primeira variante, representa a condição de série com um escapamento padrão, mas sem cabine. 

A segunda variante representa o trator com um direcionamento dos gases de escape modificado para cima e uma cabine adaptada de origem desconhecida." - Kallboys
