The Ancient Temple Of Sacrifice - Assembled by Kevin WS - Part 02

My friend Kevin WS, from Kenya, Eastern Africa, built the Ancient Temple of Sacrifice and details the entire assembly process in a thread on the American papercraft community "Paper Modelers". 

Following the thread I learned a technique I didn't know to reinforce the interior of models with paper napkins and glue. 

Today, in this post I let the second and last part and also the link for download the model, some photos taken by Kevin and the link for anyone who wants to follow the thread. 

There are a lot more photos and mounting tips there. I will continue posting here on the blog the advances made by Kevin, until the completion of the model.

Meu amigo Kevin WS, do Quênia, África Oriental, montou o Antigo Templo do Sacrifício ee detalhou todo o processo de montagem em uma thread na comunidade de papercraft americana "Paper Modelers". 

Acompanhando a thread eu aprendi uma técnica que eu não conhecia para reforçar o interior dos modelos com guardanapos de papel e cola. 

Hoje, neste post eu deixo a segunda e última parte e também o link para baixar o modelo, algumas fotos feitas por Kevin e o link para quem quiser acompanhar a thread. 

Há muito mais fotos e dicas de montagem lá. Continuarei postando aqui no blog os avanços feitos por Kevin, até a conclusão do modelo.

A native from Barcelona, Spain, Nitdia (Night and Day in Catalan) is a biologist, herbalist, school guide and mother of five. And it's for her kids that she creates a lot of activities. This 120 cm tall skeleton is about the size of a child. 

Regarding this project, she says: These days we are very busy understanding the human body. My son Lluc only related the skull to the pirate skulls so we decided to get down to work to understand it better and, for this purpose, I prepared a life-size skeleton (120cm) so that you can print, cut and assemble it. The bones are loose so they have to figure out which is which.

Natural de Barcelona, na Espanha, Nitdia (Noite e Dia em catalão) é uma bióloga, fitoterapeuta, guia de escola e mãe de cinco crianças. E é para seus filhos que ela cria um monte de atividades. Este esqueleto com 120 cms de altura tem o tamanho aproximado de uma criança. 

A respeito deste projeto, ela diz: Atualmente, estamos muito ocupados entendendo o corpo humano. Meu filho Lluc relacionou o crânio apenas com os crânios de pirata, então decidimos começar a trabalhar para entendê-lo melhor e, para isso, preparei um esqueleto em tamanho real (120cm) para que você possa imprimir, cortar e montar. Os ossos estão soltos, então eles precisam descobrir qual é qual.
