Alcázar Of Segovia Paper Model - by K.Yoshinaka & STpers

Occupying 17 printed sheets, this beautiful paper model from Alcázar de Segovia was created by Japanese designers K. Yoshinaka & STpers, commissioned for Canon website. 

  The Alcázar of Segovia (literally, Segovia Fortress) is a medieval castle located in the city of Segovia (Castile and León, Spain), a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Alcázar of Segovia, like many fortifications in Spain, started off as a Roman fort, but apart from the foundations, little of the original structure remains. A Muslim era fort, which was itself largely replaced by the present structure, was built by the Berber Almoravid dynasty. The first reference to this castle was in 1120.

Ocupando 17 folhas impressas, este belo modelo de papel do Alcázar de Segovia foi criado pelos designers japoneses K.Yoshinaka & STpers, comissionados para o site da Canon. 

 O Alcázar de Segóvia (literalmente, Fortaleza de Segóvia) é um castelo medieval localizado na cidade de Segóvia (Castela e Leão, Espanha), e um Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO. O Alcázar de Segóvia, como muitas fortificações na Espanha, começou como uma fortaleza romana, mas além das fundações, pouco da estrutura original permanece. Um forte da era muçulmana, que foi amplamente substituído pela estrutura atual, foi construído pela dinastia berbere almorávida. A primeira referência a este castelo foi em 1120.

Here is more one vintage paper model "caught" on eBay. I do not know who is the author and not the year it was made, but it is a beautiful model, anyway. Considering the design style I think it's from the 1930s or 1940, but not sure.

Aqui está mais um modelo antigo "pescado" no eBay. Eu não sei quem é o autor e nem o ano em que foi feito, mas é um belo modelo de papel antigo, de qualquer forma. Considerando o estilo do desenho eu creio que seja da década de 1930 ou 1940, mas não tenho certeza.

Originally published in the first decades of the 20th century and occupying two sheets of paper, this French vintage paper model called "La Riviere", was preserved and now is shared by Agence Eureka, French website.

Sur La Banquise - A French Vintage Paper Model - by Agence Eureka

This beautiful vintage diorama called "Sur La Banquise" was originally published in French children's supplements housed in Sunday newspapers in the first decades of the twentieth century. 

The "Sur La Banquise" (literally, "On Ice"), has been preserved and is now shared by Agence Eureka website. As you can see, the central disk is movable, so as you rotate the disc, the diorama changes, showing new characters and situations.

Este belo diorama antigo chamado "Sur La Banquise", foi originalmente publicado em suplementos infantis encartados em jornais de domingo na França, nas primeiras décadas do século XX. 

O "Sur La Banquise" (literalmente, "No Gelo"), foi preservado e é agora compartilhado pelo site Agence Eureka. Como você pode notar, o disco central é móvel, então conforme você gira o disco, o diorama muda, mostrando novos personagens e situações.
