Mars Exploration Rove Paper Model - Simplified Versionby Koichi Kiyonaga

Created by Japanese designer Koichi Kiyonaga for Canon website, this is an easy-to-build miniature paper model of the Mars Exploration Rover, either of a pair of U.S. robotic vehicles that explored the surface of Mars from January 2004 to June 2018. The mission of each rover was to study the chemical and physical composition of the surface at various locations in order to help determine whether water had ever existed on the planet and to search for other signs that the planet might have supported some form of life.

Criado pelo designer japonês Koichi Kiyonaga para o site da Canon, este é um modelo de papel em miniatura bem fácil de montar do Mars Exploration Rover, um dos dois veículos robóticos dos EUA que exploraram a superfície de Marte de janeiro de 2004 a junho de 2018. A missão de cada rover era estudar a composição química e física da superfície em vários locais para ajudar a determinar se a água já existiu no planeta e procurar outros sinais de que o planeta possa ter sustentado alguma forma de vida.

First at all, I want to say many thanks to my friend Willem Janse, from Holland, that through a kind email, warned me about the errors in this model. The rear wall was inverted and one of the side walls was lower than necessary, making it impossible to build the model. Well, anyway the model has already been fixed and the templates can be downloaded here as well as in the original post. Thanks again to Willem Janse and I wish you all a good Sunday.

Antes de mais nada, quero agradecer ao meu amigo Willem Janse, da Holanda, que através de um amável e-mail, me avisou sobre os erros neste modelo. A parede traseira estava invertida e uma das paredes laterais era mais baixa que o necessário, o que impossibilitava a montagem do modelo.
