Nausicaä Of The Valley Of The Wind - Gunship Paper Model by Armorman

Created by designer Bill Perry, aka Armorman, this is the Gunship from the animation movie Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, by Studio Ghibli, from Japan. 

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is a 1984 Japanese animated epic science fantasy adventure film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, based on his own 1982 manga of the same name.

Criado pelo designer Bill Perry, aka Armorman, este é a Nave de Caça do filme de animação Nausicaä do Vale do Vento, do Studio Ghibli, do Japão.

Created by designer Jimmy Crackskull and originally posted at Pepakura Gallery website, this is the Halcyon Shuttle paper model, inspired by the game Jumpgate Evolution. Jumpgate Evolution, commonly abbreviated as JGE, was an unreleased massively multiplayer online game having been in development by NetDevil intended to be published by Codemasters. The game is a sequel to Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative and features a new graphics engine, all new assets and more accessible game play. Papercuts 2016 Papercraft Contest - Show Your Original Work!

Eric Brown (Squirmydad) has announced that Papercuts 2016 is a go! Since 2011, The Cardboard Warriors forum, in association with many designers, has sponsored a showcase for designers and builders of paper miniatures and paper terrain for miniature gaming. You can view previous contests at One Monk Miniatures website.

This year's categories are:

. Best Single Figure
. Best Multi-figure
. Best Model kit
. Best Tileset
. Papercraft in Action,
. Hot Rod and Kit-bashers

A new category, Print-n-Play - Original game rules, has been added.

There will also be a Best in Show. All voting is done by the forum members. Registration is free. Prizes will be awarded, so that you can go to One Book Shelf stores and get additional books, miniatures or terrain. The Contest keeps getting bigger each year, and welcomes new members to participate in the categories and voting. So, start thinking of ideas. The contest will run from August 1 to August 31, 2016.

My friend Vinicius Tavares, here from Rondonia, Brazil, took the Roadster "Orange Juice" paper model and skillfully passed the templates, which were in a very bad quality, for a high-resolution vector. He also created a completely new poisoned engine, which left the Roadster with a very cool look. He kindly sent me, besides the templates to share here on the blog, some pictures of your beautiful work. What can I say?
