Dentre as tecnologias que estavam sendo testadas, tinha a segunda versão do médico holográfico (EMH Mark 2) e um sistema de ataque conhecido como Modo de Assalto Multi-vetorial (Multi-Vector Assault Mode) que permitia separar a nave em três astronaves diferentes durante as operações de batalha.
