The Temple Of Isis - A Vintage Paper Model - by Marca El Toro Preserved and Shared by The CMN

This paper model of a fictional Temple of Isis was originally published in Spain between the 1940`s and 1950`s and was preserved and is now shared by The CMN, a collector and enthusiast of these ephemeral things. 

The CMN says: - "I started using Flickr to share moving paper toys by Dan Rudolph that were printed in newspapers between 1918 and 1923. In addition to the 29 toys that can be found on the Barnacle Press website, I have found and am in the process of cleaning up and sharing at least 30 more toys. I love vintage images. 

Before digital images were readily available, I collected rubber stamps that enterprising folks made, often using vintage images from old print sources. Also before digital images, I found the Dover Publishing Pictorial Archive and used their images in various projects. 

Now, with the amazing number of places that are preserving our history by digitizing their holdings I am searching out and sharing illustrations that many people might otherwise not see. 

I want to foster an appreciation of all the men and women whose artwork illuminated our lives before the invention and widespread use of photography."

Este modelo de papel de um fictício Templo de Ísis foi publicado originalmente na Espanha entre os anos 1940 e 1950 e foi preservado e agora é compartilhado por CMN, um colecionador e entusiásta dessas coisas efêmeras. 

The CMN diz: - "Comecei a usar o Flickr para compartilhar brinquedos de papel em movimento de Dan Rudolph, impressos em jornais entre 1918 e 1923. Além dos 29 brinquedos que podem ser encontrados no site da Barnacle Press, eu encontrei e estou no processo de limpar e compartilhando pelo menos mais 30 brinquedos. Eu amo imagens vintage.
