Vessel Kyo Maru Nº 1 Whale Catcher Paper Model In 1/400 Scaleby Etsutan

Created by Japanese designer Etsutan, this is the paper model version in 1/400 scale of the Vessel Kyo Maru Nº 1, a Whale Catcher built in 1971 by NIIGATA SHIPBUILDING & REPAIR and currently sailing under the flag of Japan. Its length overall is 69.15 m. The ship is operated by RPTD SOLD JAPAN. Although very detailed, this paper model occupies only two sheets of paper and requires patience and good eyes from those who are willing to build it.

Criada pelo designer e modelista japonês Etsutan, esta é a versão em papel na escala 1/400 do navio Kyo Maru Nº 1, um Baleeiro construído em 1971 pela NIIGATA SHIPBUILDING & REPAIR e atualmente navegando sob a bandeira do Japão. Seu comprimento total é de 69,15 m. O navio é operado pela RPTD SOLD JAPAN. Embora bem detalhado, este modelo ocupa apenas duas folhas de papel e requer paciência e bons olhos daqueles que se disponham à montá-lo.

Mabinogi - Flying Star & Oak Magic Brooms Paper Modelsby Paperworks

These paper model versions of two enchanted brooms, the Flying Star and the Oak Magic, are offered by Paperworks, a South Korean website and were inspired on Mabinogi, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game released by South Korean Game Distributing Company Nexon, and developed by devCAT studio. Although the name of the game is taken from the Mabinogion, a Welsh anthology of legend, the settings for the game are loosely based on Irish mythology. The Flying Star was sold at the game's premium store (real money) for a short time. The Oak Magic continues to be sold in the regular game store and can be purchased with the virtual coin won in the game itself. - To view and print these models you will need Pepakura Viewer Free Version (link at the end of this post).

Estas versões em papel de duas vassouras encantadas, a Flying Star e a Oak Magic, são oferecidas pelo site Paperworks, da Coréia do Sul, e foram inspiradas em Mabinogi, um RPG multiplayer massivo lançado pela empresa sul-coreana Game Distributing Company Nexon e desenvolvido pelo devCAT studio. Embora o nome do jogo seja retirado do Mabinogion, uma antologia de lendas galesa, as configurações do jogo são vagamente baseadas na mitologia irlandesa. Koinobori - Boys Festival Decorative Paper Model - by Ayako Fujioka

This beautiful Koinobori decorative paper model was created by Japanese designer Ayako Fujioka, commissioned by Canon website. Koinobori, meaning "carp streamer" in Japanese, are carp-shaped windsocks traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate Tango No Sekku, a traditional calendrical event which is now designated a national holiday; Children's Day. These wind socks are made by drawing carp patterns on paper, cloth or other nonwoven fabric. They are then allowed to flutter in the wind. They are also known as Satsuki-Nobori. Children's Day takes place on May 5, the last day of Golden Week, the largest break for workers and also a week in which businesses usually close for up to 9–10 days. Landscapes across Japan are decorated with koinobori from April to early May, in honor of children for a good future and in the hope that they will grow up healthy and strong.

Este belo modelo de papel decorativo de um Koinoburi foi criado pelo designer japonês Ayako Fujioka, comissionado pelo site da Canon. Koinobori, (literalmente, Bandeira de Carpas) é um costume japonês de comemorar o Dia dos Meninos em cinco de maio hasteando birutas em forma de carpa. Era comemorada por militares e civis, com os militares hasteando birutas que lembram vagamente uma lula e a plebe hasteando carpas simbolizando aguerrimento, tenacidade e obstinação, características essas que os pais apreciariam ver incorporadas em seus filhos varões. O Dia das Crianças é o desfecho da Golden Week (Semana de Ouro) no Japão, que junta três feriados nacionais: o Dia de Showa (29 de abril), o Dia da Constituição (3 de maio) e o Dia das Crianças (5 de maio).

Created by Polish designer and modeler Adam Koch and originally posted at Paper Modelers forum, here is a typical railway auxiliary building know in german as Wellblechbude. It is a kind of small shed used as warehouse or post. Perfect for Dioramas, Train Sets, RPG and Wargames, this model occupies three sheets of paper and when printed on A4 format fits in 1/45 scale.

Rock`n`Roll Circus - The Beatles - Yellow Submarine Paper Model by Domatine

Yellow Submarine is a 1968 animated musical fantasy film based on the music of The Beatles. It is also the title for the film's soundtrack album, released as part of The Beatles' music catalogue. The film was directed by animation producer George Dunning, and produced by United Artists (UA) and King Features Syndicate. The real Beatles participated only in the closing scene of the film, with the fictional counterparts of The Beatles voiced by other actors.
The film received a widely positive reception from critics and audiences alike. It is also credited with bringing more interest in animation as a serious art form.
Time commented that it "turned into a smash hit, delighting adolescents and esthetes alike". - Offered by Domatine, Italian website, you will find the model in two formats: PDF and PDO (Pepakura), so you can print the model with the PDF format and use the PDO format as guide, because it can be visualized in 3D. Yellow Submarine é o álbum trilha-sonora lançado pelos Beatles, que corresponde ao filme de mesmo título. Em contraste com a recepção do filme pela crítica, este é considerado o disco mais fraco dos Beatles e o único disco a não alcançar o 1° lugar nas paradas nos EUA e no Reino Unido (a melhor posição foi o 2° lugar, curiosamente com o "Álbum Branco", lançado 2 meses antes, em 1° lugar).
É um álbum que destoa do resto da discografia da banda, já que somente as seis músicas do lado A são do grupo e apenas quatro delas são inéditas e ainda assim foram gravadas entre 1967 e 1968. - Oferecido pela Domatine, da Itália, você encontrará o modelo em dois formatos: PDF e PDO (Pepakura), então você pode usar o PDF para imprimir as peças e o PDO como guia de montagem, já que com ele você pode visualizar o modelo em 3D.
