James Joseph Gandolfini, Jr. (September 18, 1961 – June 19, 2013) was an American actor best known for his role in The Sopranos as Tony Soprano, a troubled crime boss struggling to balance his family life and career in the Mafia. Gandolfini garnered enormous praise for this portrayal, winning both the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series three times. Gandolfini's other roles include the woman-beating Mob henchman Virgil in True Romance, enforcer/stuntman Bear in Get Shorty, and the impulsive Wild Thing Carol in Where the Wild Things Are. - Wikipedia

James R. Gandolfini Jr. (Westwood, 18 de setembro de 1961 — Roma, 19 de junho de 2013) foi um premiado ator norte-americano, conhecido pelo seu papel como Tony Soprano na série dramática The Sopranos. Cresceu em Park Ridge, Nova Jersey, tendo-se graduado anos mais tarde 1979, na Park Ridge High School. Após a escola, adquiriu o grau bacharel em artes na Univeridade de Rutgers, onde trabalhou como segurança do campus. Gandolfini iniciou-se como ator quando vivia em Nova Iorque quando acompanhava um amigo às aulas de interpretação. Após atuar na Broadway, Gandolfini começou a estabelecer uma carreira no mundo do cinema. Um dos primeiros papéis que desempenhou e atraiu as atenções foi Virgil, um violento mafioso no filme True Romance. Em 1999 a HBO iniciou a produção de uma nova série intitulada 'The Sopranos' e Gandolfini foi escolhido para interpretar o papel principal da série, Tony Soprano, um violento chefe da máfia com problemas familiares. The Norwegian Forest Cat is a breed of cat native to northern Europe, especially common in Norway and other parts of Scandinavia. It is said to have an extremely long history, even appearing in some Norse legends. At one stage, Norwegian Forest Cat numbers declined almost to the point of extinction, but the breed recovered and they are currently popular pets around the world. Their two-layered coat helps them survive the cold Scandinavian winters. They are also known for their long, fluffy tails and straight, long nose bridges. Norwegian Forest Cats have calm, patient, intelligent and loving temperaments. They love to play, and are good at climbing trees.
